Abstract

The invention relates to a highly efficient heat exchanger which can be formed by a single length, made of corrugated stainless steel tube, avoiding any welding or connection in contact with the treated liquid. It consists of a corrugated tube 1 made of thin stainless steel formed according to the use envisaged and of a single and unique length. Profiles 2 maintain the optimum separation between turns. The end of the four profiles is welded to a tube portion 3 allowing possible fixing at the bottom of a vat or a better penetration into the must if it is desired to place the heat exchanger after filling the vat. Connectors 4 provide the hydraulic link of the heat exchanger. The heat exchanger according to the invention is particularly intended for controlling fermentation or heat-treatment temperatures of juices or must of fruit, such as grapes for example.
