Abstract

The invention relates to a furnace for firing ceramic materials such as slabs (tiles) and the like. It includes a series of treatment zones 16 which are arranged and connected in succession, one after the other, by means of a conveyor 6. The heat-energy exchange takes place by radiation between the walls of the various zones of the furnace and the material being fired.
