Abstract

The invention relates to a device for assembling, without tools, the shelves to the uprights of a set of shelves, which can be used for storing foodstuffs. It consists of a member in the shape of a sloping hook 5 fixed to an upright 1 on which is positioned a crosspiece 3, attached to the shelf 2 by means of two rectangular studs 4 which are housed in orifices 8 of the same shape, made in the longitudinal and transverse edges 7 bent at right angles of the shelf 2. The shelf is assembled to the upright by wedging between the crosspiece 3 and the hook 5, which locks in bearing simultaneously the thin edges 6a and 6b on the surface of the upright 1.

Description

 The present invention relates to a shelf with removable shelves that can receive foodstuffs.

 Generally the shelves are made up of shelves placed on ladders linked together by side members forming a frame assembled by bolts, or by the wedging of a crosspiece on a sloping hook. These devices have the disadvantages of being complex, heavy and expensive, long to assemble, given their large number of constituent parts.

 The object of the invention is to produce shelves with removable shelves, rigid, stable, light and made up of a reduced number of members, allowing easy access from all four sides, easy to assemble without tools and inexpensive.

 To achieve these objectives, the shelves have at least four vertical uprights between which are placed horizontal spokes whose edges are folded to form stiffeners. The uprights and the spokes have hooking members, one consisting of a sloping ramp against which the other complementary member positioned on the spoke is positioned.

The latching members fixed to the uprights consist of a part having the shape of a hook as a whole, the projecting part of which has a flat and inclined surface of about 5.5 relative to the axis of the upright. . The shelf with removable shelves includes four cylindrical tubular uprights and four sheet metal shelves, the four edges of which are bent at right angles. The crosspiece (3) shown in fig. 1 and 2 form a 45 "angle with
the edges (7) of the spoke (2). It is fixed to the four corners of the radius (2) by two
pins (4) engaged in the orifices (8) cut in the edges (7). The
four corners of each radius (2) are cut to form two edges

amount (i) by means of a rivet. The hook support surface (5) is a
portion of concave cylinder to ensure when assembled on the
upright (i) longitudinal and transverse positioning.

 i) Device for assembling, without tools, the sheet metal shelves with folded edges and the four tubular uprights constituting a shelf, characterized in that the assembly members consisting of four crosspieces (3), fixed under the shelves (2), to the four angles, positioned at 450 relative to the vertical edges of the spoke, are housed on the four hooks provided for the spoke and fixed on the four uprights (i), by the action of the slope made on the internal protruding part of the hooks (5) simultaneously support the vertical edges (6a) and (6b) of the edge of the spoke (2) on the surface of the uprights (i).
