Abstract

The invention relates to a device for the rapid and removable assembly of various elements. The assembly device is characterised in that the two assembling parts are each composed of a spigot 1 comprising one coupling face 2 which is identical for all the spigots, this face having at least one projecting male coupling member 4, 4' and a receiving hollow recess 5, 5' of complementary shape to the said male member, each of the said members being able to be coupled by mutually fitting onto the complementary member situated on the opposite spigot, the two spigots thus being capable, after their removable secure fastening by fitting the complementary members onto each other, of trapping between their parallel faces one, and preferably two elements which are thus immobilised against each other and securely fastened in a removable fashion. Application especially to producing decorative meshes for supporting functional or aesthetic elements.

Description

The present invention relates to a versatile assembly device.

The invention relates more particularly to an assembly system from two elements coming into the nesting position and thus being removably secured; the two elements being engaged and coupled by simple interlocking can also be brought back into the disengaged position by the reverse maneuver which has enabled their interlocking and their coupling, which makes it possible to release the two elements individually with respect to each other.

The two coupled elements can allow many possibilities of assembly, either of elements made up of walls (incomplete or not) between them, or of elements formed by a wall mounted integrally on another wall; or the attachment or removable support of functional or decorative elements on a solid or linear wall.

The device of the invention therefore provides two pawn-shaped elements which are designed to come into the coupling position thus being fixed to each other and which can be used to assemble various parts together, a part of which wall shape or wire-shaped is either mounted integral with an assembly element, or mounted captive in the gap separating the two opposite faces of the two assembled elements.

The examples which follow will illustrate in a more complete manner the very numerous varieties of use and examples of implementation to which the invention results.

The invention uses two assembly elements which will frequently (but not necessarily) be identical to each other and which in any case have two identical faces from one element to another, the two faces of the elements or coupling pins constituting the assembly faces and comprising assembly members constituted in a manner known per se of raised members cooperating with a hollow member and receiver provided on the face of the opposite pin.

Devices of this type of which the "snap button 'gives an example, have so far received only limited applications; in the case of the snap button it is known that the two elements are joined together for example by sewing or by gluing a part which is for example a piece of clothing and which is closed by fitting the male element into the female receiving element; this system has been extrapolated for the assembly of rigid parts on which is mounted for example a stud forming a post and which engages in a receiving housing forming a mortise, the assembly thus being coupled while allowing the release of the elements.

Devices of this kind, however, only allow limited assemblies.

The modern trend in equipping functional premises, in particular in the home (garage, DIY workshop, kitchen, bathroom, etc.) frequently uses gaps in the form of perforated walls or gratings which have the advantage of a pleasant aesthetic thanks to a lightness of structure of the elements and numerous possibilities of adaptation, the mesh offering a surface on which can be hung all kinds of elements, tools, utensils etc ...

The invention aims to make it possible to considerably develop the possibilities of using the establishment and operation of structures of this type, without being limited to their use.

The invention ensures the establishment of a sparse support structure such as a perforated wall or a mesh on a support wall such as a load-bearing wall; 1'assembly of mesh or perforated walls therebetween, the assembly and support of functional elements secured to the supporting surface such as a wall, either directly or through the gap wall (perforated wall or toasting).

Thus, the invention relates to a device for quick and removable assembly of components, the assembly being of the type consisting of two parts capable of being coupled face to face by engagement of removable securing members consisting of a raised relief member. of one of the two parts and cooperating with a female receiving member arranged on the opposite part, and the assembly device is characterized in that the two assembly parts each consist of a pin having an identical coupling face for all the pins, this face having at least one protruding male coupling member and a receptacle recess and of complementary shape of said male member, each of said members being capable of being coupled by mutual interlocking on the complementary member located on the pawn facing each other, the two pawns thus being able, after their removable joining by interlocking of the complementary members, to trap between their parallel faces one and preferably two elements thus immobilized one against the other and removably secured.

According to another characteristic, the assembly pins consist of plates with two parallel faces, one coupling face carrying removable securing members, the rear face carrying members forming sockets for supporting external elements, such as hollow hollow engagement members capable of receiving the engagement insertion of an external part or an active engagement member in relief capable of constituting a hooking or rest support for an external part.

According to a more particular form, each pin consists of a circular block and the respectively female and female members arranged on the coupling face of the pin are positioned on either side of a diametrical axis of symmetry.

According to yet a more specific embodiment, each pin carries on its coupling face two miles organs and two female receiving organs, the four organs being arranged at the angles of a virtual rectangle thus allowing the setting face to face in position of coupling of the coupling faces of two pins, each member coming opposite a complementary member.

In an advantageous and preferential embodiment, each male member provided on the coupling face of the pin consists of a post, preferably of cylindrical shape, and the receiving members consist of hollow cylinders, the inside diameter of which corresponds substantially to the outside diameter of the tenons thus allowing the forced insertion with friction of a tenon coming from a pawn in the receiving cylinder coming from the opposite pawn, the tenons and the receiving cylinders projecting at right angles to the coupling face of the pawn.

According to a more particular application of the invention, the latter relates to a system for assembling elements of which at least one element is in the form of a grid and it is characterized in that it comprises at least two pins arranged opposite, the mating faces opposite the two pins comprising two tenons and two receiving cylinders, the pins being positioned to meet two wires belonging to said grid, the wires crossing along the two axes of symmetry of the virtual rectangle at the angles of which are positioned the coupling elements.

According to an embodiment representing a variant, the assembly system allows parts to be joined together, one of which consists of a plate or wall such as a metal wall and it is characterized in that the wall comprises at least an opening, for example circular, of diameter less than the largest dimension of the assembly pins, for example less than the diameter of the circular pins and this circular opening is itself circumscribed to the virtual rectangle corresponding to the positioning of the pins and receiving cylinders arranged on the joining pins coming opposite, thus allowing the insertion of said tenons and receiving cylinders and their coupling through said opening, the mating face of the pins coming to bear on the wall or plate, the face of 'assembly of said pins coming to bear on the edge of said opening.

According to yet another embodiment, one of the pins participating in the pair of two assembled pins has fixing means by its rear face such as a central opening passing through the pin and allowing the passage of a screw penetrating into the body of a part. thus fixed to said pin, the part integral with the pin being thus secured to the other pin with the interposition of a plate or a mesh thereby ensuring the attachment of the part on said wall or said mesh.

According to a variant, the rear face of the pin comprises an autonomous fixing device and consisting for example of an adhesive surface or a magnetic surface.

According to yet another variant, the pin is originally mounted integral with an object capable of being thus, by means of said pin, mounted on a support wall such as a perforated plate or mesh by cooperating with a pin disposed on the opposite face of said wall comprising at least one opening for the passage of the studs and assembly cylinders.

Other characteristics and advantages of the invention will emerge from the description which follows and which is given with regard to several embodiments illustrated elsewhere in the accompanying drawings.

FIG. 1 represents a perspective view of a couple of two assembly pins according to the invention.

Figure 2 shows the two pins placed in face to face position ready to engage the mutual nesting maneuver.

FIG. 3 represents a variant in which one of the pins has on its rear face a suspension hook.

FIG. 4 represents another variant in which a pin represents on its rear face a recess forming a support console.

FIG. 5 shows yet another variant in which the two pins in the nesting position each have a central opening crossed by a screw for fixing the assembly pin on a rear part.

Figure 6 shows an example of implementation of the assembly pins according to Figure 5, the pins being mounted respectively on a wall and on a panel removably secured to this wall.

FIG. 7 represents an alternative embodiment in which the assembly pins are mounted on a plate and are assembled through an opening made on this plate.

Figure 8 shows a sectional view of an assembly of the pins assembled on the plate according to the previous figure.

Figure 16 shows the two grids forming the storage panel of the previous figure provided with hooking and suspension devices.

According to Figures 1 and 2, we see that the invention relates to an assembly pin capable of being secured and coupled with an identical pin allowing multiple removable securing operations.

The assembly device or pin according to the invention consists of a cylindrical plate l, the front face 2 of which is provided with the assembly members described below, the functional coupling face 2 being identical for all the pins.

On the other hand, the rear face 3 can be of varied shape and configuration to adapt to various methods of use.

The assembly members consist in the example described, of two 4.4 "studs of generally cylindrical shape and two hollow cylinders forming mortises 5.5 ′.

The mortise cylinders 5 and 5 ′ are provided with an internal dimension corresponding substantially to the external diameter of the pins 4 and 4 ′ to allow friction fit of the pins 4 and 4 ′.

The tenons and mortises are arranged at the angles of a virtual quadrangular surface, here a square, so that one obtains, when the pawns are face to face (Figure 2) the possibility of presentation of a tenon facing a receiver mortise, while the assembly pins in the example of Figures 1 and 2 are strictly identical.

It can be seen according to FIG. 2 that by simple pressure the tenon 4 penetrates into the receiving mortise 5 and one thus obtains a sufficient joining thanks to the friction forces brought into play, to ensure the coupling of the two parts respectively right and left; however, it suffices for sufficiently strong traction, if necessary using a screwdriver forming a lever to easily disengage the two assembled pins, which makes it possible to object to a removable securing.

The assembly device of the invention can be used in numerous methods and variants of use, the description of which gives some examples.

We see for example in Figures 3 and 4 that the ace rear 3 of each pin can be provided with active elements for example a hook 6 or a shoulder forming a console 7, allowing to use the supports or rest surfaces that these elements constitute .

According to Figure 5 we see that the pins are crossed by an opening or central light 8.8 'which allows the passage of a screw 9.9'.

FIG. 6 then gives an example of implementation of the assembly pins according to FIG. 5.

Each pin can thus be mounted on any part or element and in FIG. 6 we see that the left pins 10 and 101 are mounted on a support wall, for example a wall 11.

The coupling face of the pins 10 and 10 'is turned outwards and can thus be mounted in engagement with the pins located on the facets 13 and 13' which are themselves screwed onto the panel 12.

Under these conditions, the coupling faces of the pins 10 and 13 on the one hand and 10 'and 13' on the other hand can be assembled and mounted in the nesting position, which then allows the panel 12 to rest against the wall. 11 while allowing the release of this panel at any time and possibly its replacement by a panel mounted in the same way on a set of assembly pins suitably positioned to come into the embedding position on the fixed receiver pins 10 and 10 '.

FIG. 7 also shows a variant in which the assembly pins are mounted on a solid wall, for example a painted sheet metal plate provided with at least one opening or lumen.

The sheet metal plate 15 can be provided with openings 16 which are distributed for example regularly at modular intervals, which allows multiple positioning possibilities; but it is also possible to provide for the use of the system according to the invention from plates 17 from which the openings 16 would be punctually cut off and as required.

It can be seen from Figure 7 that lez; coupling pins 18 and 18 ′ can be positioned on either side of the plate 17; the opening 16 is provided with a diameter corresponding at least to the maximum external spacing between the coupling members, so that the four coupling members can be positioned in the interior space of the opening 16 and come in embedding position.

The edges of the plates constituting the pins 18,19 come to bear on the peripheral edge of the plate around the opening 16 and are thus thus maintained on this plate.

The pins may include active elements such as the suspension hooks described above or any other rest, support or support system or any active or passive member making it possible to develop the possibilities of using the plate 17.

FIG. 9 shows an alternative embodiment in which the pins 20, 21 are positioned (not shown) on a wall, for example on a grid as will be described below or on a perforated wall as in the example of Figure 7.

These pins have a diametrical groove positioned here horizontally and in the extension of one another and these collinear diametrical grooves 23 and 24 can receive a rail, for example a U-shaped rail made of synthetic material of a type known per se, this rail 22 being optionally positioned by gluing inside the diametrical grooves 23,24 of the pins 20,21.

This rail can then serve as a guide groove or guide for the sliding edge 25 of a drawer 26.

It can be seen that this results in an assembly of a drawer system which is very easy to assemble.

Within a capacity defined by the two side walls consisting for example of vertical sheets 17,17 ', it is possible to position laterally at least two pins of the type 20,21 of each cat and at the same height, which allows d 'insert in the sets of pins located on the same plane, the two lateral slides 22,22' thus able to receive the two lateral flanges 25,25 'slidably mounted in the rails 22,22'.

This system could be mounted under the same conditions, not on side plates but on a mesh structure as will be seen below.

FIG. 11 indeed shows the possibilities of assembling pins according to the invention, on a mesh structure.

According to the figure II we see two superimposed grids.

The mesh 30 is extended downward by the mesh 31 with the juxtaposition of the two terminal bars forming edges respectively 32 (for the mesh 30) and 33 (for the mesh 31).

The two superimposed grids can be ripement assembled by the pins according to the invention as seen in Figure II; the pins 34, 35 are positioned in such a way that they trap the two edges 32, 33 which are superimposed here, as well as the superimposed vertical bars 36 and 37.

After the pins 34 and 35 fit together, the two grids 30 and 31 are joined at the level of the positioning of the assembled pins and it will suffice to position a set of assembly pins suitably spaced along the juxtaposed edges to ensure the superimposed joining of the two grids.

Figure 12 shows the sectional view of the positioning of the pins on the horizontal bars 32,33.

According to FIG. 13, it can be seen that the bars could possibly be positioned (for aesthetic or spacing reasons) not in the superimposed position but on the same level.

On the grid thus mounted, functional pins can be brought from place to place allowing the use of the grid as a support; for example; the pins 38.39 which are face to face in the nesting position and which are positioned at the intersection forming a crossbar of the horizontal bars 40 and vertical 41 are thus fixedly mounted on the grid while being easily removable if necessary .

Pawns 38 and 39 or one of them may include suspension or hanging systems; for example the pin 39 may have on its rear face a magnetic plate 42 allowing the suspension of tools
Figure 14 shows the versatility of the device of the invention by illustrating the assembly by the pins 43, 44 in disembolishing position respectively of a wall consisting of a sheet metal plate 45 and a grid 46 whose amounts are seen 47 and the horizontal bar 48 inserted and coupled being locked together in the gap separating the two nested assembly pins 43 and 44.

Figures 15 and 16 show the possibility of using the device of the invention to produce a panel that is both decorative and functional in a living or functional room, for example a kitchen, a workshop, a gallery, or a store. exhibition etc ...

The two twin grids 49 and 50 are juxtaposed by their neighboring vertical bars 51 and 52 by the pairs of assembly pins 53, 54 ′, of which the pin in the upper position can be seen projecting from the plane of the figure, the rear pin not being visible; but this rear pin can itself be positioned, for example by means of a screw as seen in FIG. 5, on a vertical upright 61.

The same is true of the lateral pins 55, 56, 57 and 58 which immobilize the edges formed by the bars 60 (left grid 50) and 59 (right grid 49) and which are secured by the sets of pins 55,56, 57 and 58 on the vertical uprights, for example in wood 62 and 63.

An openwork structure is thus obtained, the aesthetic effect of which can advantageously harmonize with the functional character; this structure allows light and air to pass through while constituting a sort of "cloister" which can separate two rooms without isolating them.

And this structure will be advantageously used for, on both sides, to allow the positioning in support of objects, for example useful objects (kitchen utensils, tools etc ...) or decorative (paintings, works of art , lamps etc ...).

To this end, according to FIG. 16, it can be seen that functional attachment pins are suitably positioned in the nodes formed by the crossing of vertical and horizontal wires in the grids.

It is thus possible to position a very large number of objects according to the needs and above all to position them in the exactly desired location; just as we can then move them according to modifications, layouts, or changes in use.

A particularly flexible structure is thus obtained.

Above all, this structure can be exploited, being assembled in a few moments, without any tools and by a person devoid of any professional practice.

So that the invention can be used both in the production of functional objects (mounting shelves, shelves, storage lockers etc ...) as well as for the assembly of decorative elements in interiors where aesthetic research is highly developed.

And the multiple devices capable of being produced within the framework of the invention always have great flexibility of adaptation and can at any time be modified, disassembled, replaced without suffering any risk of deterioration and without specialized tools, without work and without waste of time.

Claims (10)

1 - Device for rapid and removable assembly of elements, the assembly being of the type consisting of two pieces capable of being coupled face to face by engagement of removable securing members consisting of a raised member from one of the two parts and cooperating with a female receiving member disposed on the opposite part, characterized in that the two assembly parts each constitute a pin (1) comprising an identical coupling face (2) for all pins, this face having at least one male coupling member (4,4 ') projecting and a hollow recess receiver (5.5') and of complementary shape of said male body, each of said members being able to be coupled by mutual interlocking on the complementary member located on the opposite peg, the two pegs being thus able, after their removable fastening by interlocking with the complementary members, to trap between their parallel faces one and preferably two elements as well immobilized against each other and secured in a removable manner. 2 - Device according to claim 1, characterized in that the assembly pins <1) consist of plates with two parallel faces including a coupling face (2) carrying removable securing members, the rear face (3) being carrying elements forming sockets for supporting external elements, such as hollow hollow grip members (7) able to receive the engagement insertion of an external part or an active grip member in relief ( 6) capable of constituting the hanging or rest support for an external part. 3 - Device according to one of claims 1 or 2, characterized in that each pin consists of a circular block and the male and female members respectively arranged on the coupling face of the pin are positioned on either side an axis of diametrical symmetry. 4 - Device according to one of claims 1,2 or 3, characterized in that each pin carries on its coupling face two male organs (4,4 ') and two female receiving organs (5,5'), the four organs being arranged at the angles of a virtual rectangle thus allowing the coupling faces to face to face in coupling position (2j of two pins (l, l'j, each organ coming opposite a complementary organ) . 5 - Device according to one of claims 1 to 4, characterized in that each male member provided on the coupling face (2) of the pin (1.1 ') consists of a stud (4.4') preferably cylindrical in shape and the receiving members consist of hollow cylinders (5.5 ′), the inside diameter of which corresponds substantially to the outside diameter of the studs, thus allowing the forced insertion with friction of a stud from a pin in the receiving cylinder coming from the opposite pin, the tenons and the receiving cylinders projecting at right angles to the coupling face. 6 - Device according to one of claims 1 to 5 for the assembly of elements of which at least one element is in the form of a grid (30, 31), and characterized in that it comprises at least two pins (34,35,38,39) arranged opposite, the coupling faces opposite the two pins comprising two pins and two receiving cylinders, the pins being positioned to meet two wires (40,41) belonging to said grid, the wires crossing along the two axes of symmetry of the virtual rectangle at the angles of which the coupling elements are positioned. 7 - Device according to one of claims 1 to 5, for the assembly of elements therebetween, an element of which consists of a plate or wall such as a metal wall (17,45), characterized in that that the wall has at least one opening, for example circular (16) of diameter smaller than the largest dimension of the assembly pins, for example less than the diameter of the circular pins (18,19) and this circular opening is it - even circumscribed to the virtual rectangle corresponding to the positioning of the tenons and receiving cylinders arranged on the assembly pins coming opposite, thus allowing the insertion of said tenons and receiving cylinders and their coupling through said opening, the face of coupling of the pins coming to bear on the wall or plate, the assembly face of said pins coming to bear on the edge of said opening. 8 - Device according to one of claims 1 to 7, characterized in that at least one of the pawns participating in the pair of two pawns assembled comprises fixing means by its rear face such as a central opening (8,8 ' ) crossing the pin and allowing the passage of a screw (9.9 ') penetrating into the body of a part thus fixed to said pin, the part secured to the pin being thus secured to the other pin with the interposition of a plate or a grid, thereby ensuring the attachment of the part on said wall or said grid. 9 - Device according to one of claims 1 to 8, characterized in that the rear face of the pin comprises an autonomous fixing device and consisting for example of a self-adhesive surface or a magnetic surface (42). 10 - Device according to one of claims 1 to. 9, characterized in that the pin is originally mounted integral with an object capable of being thus, by means of said pin, mounted on a support wall such as perforated plate or mesh cooperating with a pin arranged on the opposite side of said wall comprising at least one opening for the passage of the assembly and cylinders.
