Abstract

The joint structure comprises a pair of lengwise interengageable extruded elongate plates each adapted to be attached to one of the parts to be joined and each including: a first tongue having lengthwise extending inner and outer sidewalls, a second tongue having lengthwise extending inner and outer widewalls, and a groove disposed between the first an second tongue the groove having lenghwise extending sidewalls provided by the first and second tongue inner sidewalls the groove of one plate receiving one of the tongues of the other plate, the inner sidewals including transverse bevel portions overlapping and retaining the received tongue when the elongate plates are in a widthwise reversed, lengthwise coextensive installed condition.
