Abstract

The invention relates to an open strap system accepting various accessories outside the system and reversible modifications in order to adapt itself to objects and tasks. It consists of a strap 1 equipped with multiple short slits 3 and/or loops 5, 8 into which are inserted rigid or flexible accessories acting as a handle 6, and with a hook 10 simultaneously ensuring adjustment and locking of the strap. Components such as a long slit 14, end buckle, and tube-case 21 expand the range of possible combinations, for flat and/or tubular straps, over all or part of their surface. The invention is intended for the transportation, handling and protection of various objects, it being possible for the strap to be transferred in a cover, as desired.

Description

The present invention is a strap system for the transport, protection and storage of objects of various shapes and volumes such as skis, luggage, ..., implementing the interactive effects occurring between a perforated strap and components such as loops, rings, handles, cables, various fasteners.

Self-tightening, adaptation to multiple forms of innumerable objects, and the protection of transported objects are usually done by components permanently secured to the transport system where the transported object does not play any role. . An incompatibility follows when one wants to use components external to the system, already manufactured, or even already implemented. The impossibility of spreading the purchase of components over time and expanding the characteristics of the strapping system makes competing systems closed systems, completely lacking in flexibility of use.

The invention takes the opposite view from competing approaches and offers an open system, which can implement the components of other systems, and which can go beyond the only concepts of transport and stowage, to lead to those of storage and protection.

The invention uses only the duly fitted strap, or only the same strap associated with flexible or rigid accessories which are fully compatible with each other.
