Abstract

The invention relates to a device making it possible to hold and calibrate containers for the production of honey in hexagonal sections. It is constituted by one or more polygonal calibrators in which are set the surrounds or containers of the hexagonal section. The device according to the invention is particularly intended for beekeepers for the production of natural honey in consumable portions.

Description

 The present invention is in the field of beekeeping and relates, in particular, to the techniques for producing natural honey in sections.

 The characteristic of the invention is a process which makes it possible to obtain in a regular manner sections of hexagonal shape, proportional in dimensions to the natural cell of the bee.

 The definition of the section includes the container or the outer envelope, and the content, or the honey stored directly by the bees.

DESCRIPTION
A) HEXAGONAL SECTION (Packaging + honey)
This form was chosen for aesthetic reasons in order to increase the consumer's desire to buy.

 Dimensions can vary in thickness and perimeter - depending on the volume available in the hives - and in the hive extensions.

 The net weight of honey stored by bees in these containers can vary between 200 and 300 grams.

10) Being positioned and maintained in a calibrator, it can be light, thin and inexpensive, to tend to reduce the ratio between the price of the product / price of the packaging.

 It can be made of waxed cardboard, thin wood or thin plastic.

It may also consist of a food product such as a flour cookie or the like.

 2 ") It will be presented flat, to users, with weak points or notches which will allow folding and positioning in the calibrator.

 3) There will be at least one perforation in the median length.

 This oblong perforation will allow to introduce a knife blade inside the block to taste the honey without deteriorating the external appearance.

 This feature will promote product control.

 40) The container, before shaping, can be coated or covered with beeswax to increase the desire for bee construction.

 50) A middle partition, on which the bees start the construction of their cells, will be positioned in the envelope in hexagonal shape.

 This will in principle be a thin sheet of wax, with imprints of cells.

 It is provided in the invention that this partition may be a food material specially formed, cooked or adapted to the function.

 60) The packaging of the section full of honey consists of two thermoformed covers of hexagonal shape, joining on the median axis of the section and whose junction plane will be covered with a sticker, printed or transparent.

B) CALIBRATOR
The calibrator, object of the invention, is a part. hollow, or entourage, which allows to maintain exactly in shape the containers of hexagonal sections, embedded inside.

These calibrators are positioned vertically and support 7 to 9 sections, depending on whether they are in width or in length on the hive - Fig. 1 or
Fig. 2.

 A variant Fig. 3, whose external geometry is part of an equilateral triangle, can be proposed to increase the number of sections.

 They will preferably be made of plastic but can also be made of other moldable, stamped or welded materials.

 Finally, they can be designed in one piece, or in two adjoining parts, for reasons of draft on the tools.

 Between each calibrator is placed, at a distance, a partition which regulates the thickness of the sections.

 This is a known method and is not the subject of the invention.

However, the inventor recommends rigid cardboard partitions of a very modest price.

 The mode of positioning of the calibrators in the rises, as well as the holding of the partitions, are not mentioned here, being of a current and classic field.

Claims (4)

 1) Calibrator with variable capacity, for production of sections of honey in hexagonal shape, characterized in that it consists of a polygon of molded plastic material, containing at least 7 tubular hexagons in unrolled wood or cardboard.  2) calibrator with variable capacity, for the production of sections of honey in hexagonal shape, according to claim 1, characterized in that the external geometry is contained in an equilateral triangle, containing at least 10 tubular hexagons in unrolled wood or cardboard - see fig. 3.  3) Use of the calibrators with variable capacity described in claims 1 and 2, for obtaining sections of honey in the natural state.  4) Sections of honey, in their natural state, obtained by filling the tubular hexagons placed in the calibrators of claims 1 and 2.
