Abstract

The device is for locating the exact position at which there is an opening in a circuit and for demarcating the path taken by the said circuit. The device according to the invention consists of: In part A: an electronic circuit producing two high frequency oscillating currents, having characteristics such that they give rise to interference signals when both are present; In part B: an electronic circuit for picking up signals using an exploring probe, for amplifying the high frequency oscillating currents and for converting the interference signals arising from the mixing of the two oscillating currents referred to in part A into audible and visual signals. The device is intended particularly for locating breaks in printed circuits and faulty connections due to bad contact. Application preferably in the electronics field.
