Abstract

The shelter is of the type consisting of a trunk containing the canvas and the accessories; the bottom of the trunk and the lid serve as a floor for the users. It is characterised in that the floor 1 comprises means for translational guidance onto the roof rack 2 so as to be able to position the trunk outside the size limits of the vehicle, and in that the part thus positioned comprises posts 9 which support both the said floor 1 and the lid 5. The latter is integral with the posts 9 by means of struts 13 which, in the open position, position the lid 5 close to the ground.

La présente invention concerne un abri léger pliable solidaire du véhicule de transport et plus particu lièrement un abri qui se présente, en position repliée, sous la forme d'un coffre installé sur le toit du véhicule. Un abri de ce genre est décrit dans la demande de brevet FR-A-2 085 386 ; il se présente sous la forme d'un coffre à profil aérodynamique, installé sur le toit du véhicule de transport. Le fond du coffre ainsi que le couvercle, une fois ouvert, constituent chacun un plancher pour les utilisateurs de l'abri. Le coffre renferme par ailleurs la toile et l'armature qui recouvrent les planchers après l'ouverturé. Dans le brevet précité, le couvercle est articulé directement sur le fond du coffre et il est soutenu, une fois ouvert, par les articulations et par des supports complémentaires qui prennent appui sur le véhicule. 1.- Lightweight foldable shelter secured by means of a gallery (2) of the transport vehicle, and of the type consisting of a box containing the canvas and the accessories of the shelter; the bottom and the lid of the trunk constituting floors for the users, characterized in that on the one hand, the floor (1) of the trunk comprises guide means cooperating with the gallery (2) in order to be able to be moved so as to position one of its sides outside the space requirement of the vehicle and, on the other hand, the part of the trunk positioned outside the space requirement of the vehicle, after displacement of said trunk on the gallery (2) comprises, laterally, posts (9) articulated around axes (10) parallel to the direction of movement of the trunk on the gallery (2), these poles (9) supporting both the floor (1) of the trunk and the lid of said trunk.

7.- Foldable light shelter according to any one of claims 1 to 6, characterized in that it comprises a fabric with reinforcement disposed above the floor (1) and the cover (5) in, open position.

8.- Foldable light shelter according to claim 1, characterized in that the floor (1) of the trunk and the gallery (2) have slides oriented in the transverse direction of the vehicle, allowing lateral movement of said trunk.
