DISPOSITIF PERMETTANT D'EVITER LA TRANSMISSION DES MALADIES INFECTIEUSES (EN PARTICULIER SIDA ET HEPATITE VIRALE) LORS DES TRAITEMENTS PAR ACUPUNCTURE. IL EST CONSTITUE D'UNE AIGUILLE METALLIQUE DONT LA PARTIE DISTALE1 EST DESTINEE A L'INTRODUCTION SOUS-CUTANEE ET DONT LA PARTIE PROXIMALE2 EST POURVUE D'UN MANCHON PLASTIQUE THERMOLABILE INTERDISANT UNE STERILISATION THERMIQUE. Description

DESCRIPTION
La présente invention concerne une aiguille d'acupuncture à manchon plastique destinée à l'usage unique, c'est donc une aiguille d'acupuncture jetable après utilisation.
Cette aiguille sera initialement stérilisée par des moyens athermiques.
Cette aiguille ne pourra être stérilisée à nouveau en vue de la réutilisation.
L'acupuncture ou thérapeutique par les aiguilles utilise en effet traditionnellement des aiguilles entièrement métalliques que les médecins acupuncteurs stérilisent par la chaleur après chaque usage.
Les aiguilles métalliques traditionnelles comportent trois inconvénients majeurs
la qualité de la stérilisation est invérifiable, dépendant à chaque fois des performances et de la fiabilité non garanties de l'appareil stéri 1 isateur,
ces aiguilles métalliques s'émoussent ou se déforment très rapidement après plusieurs utilisations,
toutes les garanties de qualité et de stérilité du matériel ne sont pas offertes au patient en ce qui concerne la possible transmission des maladies infectieuses contagieuses(SIDA et hépatite virale en particulier).
Le dispositif et la conception de l'invention permettent de remédier à ces trois inconvénients de la#même façon que l'introduction des aiguilles pour injections intraveineuses et intramusculaires à usage unique a permis la réduction des transmissions de maladies infectieuses.
Il comporte en effet une aiguille métallique dont l'extrémité distale (1) est déstinée à l'introduction sous cutanée et dont la partie proximale est pourvue d'un manchon plastique thermolabile (2) non stérilisable par la chaleur.
La figue 1 représente le dispositif selon l'invention.
Selon une variante (figure 2) l'extrémité proximale peut comporter à la suite du manchon plastique un appendice métallique circulaire (3) permettant de raccorder l'aiguille à un appareil de stimulation électrique.
La longueur et le diamètre de ces aiguilles seront variables en fonction des nécessités de l'utilisation.

Claims (2)

REVENDICATIONS
1) Dispositif réalisant une aiguille d'acupuncture métallique à manchon plastique thermolabile, stérile et à usage unique, caractérisée en ce que l'aiguille comporte une partie distale (1) destinée à l'introduction sous-cutanée et une partie proximale (2) pourvue d'un manchon plastique thermolabile interdisant la réutilisation de ce matériel après stérilisation par la chaleur.
2) Dispositif selon la revendication (1) caractérisée en ce que l'extrémité proximale (2) peut comporter à la suite un apendice métallique circulaire (3) permettant de raccorder l'aiguille à l'appareil de stimulation électrique.
