Abstract

The subject of the invention relates to a modular wooden trellis panel for furniture construction. It consists in the combination of trellis panels of standardised dimensions 1 enclosed in structural frames 2, 3, 4, 5 with integral supporting means, and the assembling of the shelves, pigeonholes etc. It is intended more particularly for the construction of public bookcases, but because of the great variety of ways in which it can be assembled it can be used to build multiple furniture items of all sizes and for any application.

Description

 FIG. 9 shows a device of fixed shelves, simple or double and high or low.

 Figure 10 shows a spacer mounting device.

 Figure 11 shows a protective bumper element.

 The standardized panel is constituted, Figures 1 to 5, by a grating 1 with structuring frame, formed by uprights 2, 3 and 4, 5 peripheral sleepers.

 These panels can be assembled in units 6, 7 and receive shelves 8, 9, 10, 11 and others.

 It is also possible to combine several panels 12, 13 by juxtaposition and assembly of several units 14, 15.

 The orifices formed by the grating over the entire height of the panel and at all intervals make it possible to use all the conventional means of fixing the accessories without limitation.

 The assembly of the panels is preferably carried out with stirrups 23, 24 high and low which are placed in force even without screwing in the orifices made in the juxtaposed frames 25, 26, FIG. 6.

 The base, FIG. 7, can be adjustable and constituted for this purpose by a base 17 comprising axially a threaded rod 28 with a nut 29 placed in a profiled cavity 30.

 It is possible to use a simplified cylinder with a cleat 31 housing the nut 28 in a recess made in the lower part of the frame.

 This nut receives the base 27 and the threaded rod 28.

 In both devices by rotating the base, the level of the support can be varied by static displacement of the nut.

 The device for adjusting the height and movable in inclination of the shelves is obtained by the cleat 31 formed by the housings 31 ', 31 "and comprising an axial recess 30' and a nut 29 '(fig 9) ensuring the translmation and the orientation of the fixing element with thread corresponding to that of the nut.

 This cleat has a versatile function and can be used as a rack of shelves, feet cylinders and various accessory supports.

 The fixed high or low shelves, figure 9, are fixed with bolts 32, nuts 33 and tabs 34, 35.

 This simplified means allows assemblies, either single 36, or double 37, 38.

 The spacers 39, 40 (fig 4) are fixed, figurelo, by rods bent at 900, 41 entering by forcing into the receiving orifices 42 or even by rectilinear rods 43, blocking it by stop screw t4.

 Finally it is possible to fix at the bottom of the frames anti-shock linings L5, (fig 11).

 These simplified means make it possible to obtain light and extremely resistant pieces of furniture which can support considerable weights and self-structured by not even fixing the accessories.

 The very texture of the grating presents multiple possibilities of assemblies without weakening the load-bearing panel or making significant holes.

 It is also possible to obtain a removable nature of the constructive elements which allows their interchangeability in the event of destination transformation or their modification of positioning as required.

 Finally, all forms of omnidirectional assemblies are possible, which has maximum advantages of simplicity and speed of assembly with a cost price as well as an extremely reduced manpower.

 However, the shapes, dimensions and arrangements of the various elements, such as, moreover, the materials used for their manufacture may vary within the limit of equivalents, without changing the general conception of the invention which has just been described.

 1 "Modular panel device in wooden grating or the like for making furniture and more particularly collective libraries making it possible to produce multiple pieces of furniture of all dimensions in omnidirectional positions, while giving the possibility of placing accessories, such as shelves, racks, trays and others with simplified and quick fixing methods facilitating modifications and replacement but with self-structuring and load-sharing elements, characterized by the combination of a standardized panel (1) in structured grating by a peripheral frame to the uprights (2, 3) and crosspieces (4, 5) with positionable accessories such as shelves (8, c, ;;, 11) with or without twinning of several panels t12, 13) and by connection d 'units (14, 15), the uprights being spaced by the shelves (16), the lockers (17), trays (18) and others being specified that the shelves can be horizontal or oblique (19, 23) with opposite inclinations while the base plate (21) can be mounted on rolling members (22).  3 Device according to claim 1 characterized by a cleat (31) formed by the two housings (31 ', 31 ") with axial recess (30') receiving a nut (29 ') usable for foot cylinder, adjustable support shelves and frames.  2c Device according to claim 1 characterized in that the juxtaposable panels can be assembled by stirrups (23, 24) forced fitting (25, 26) while the adjustable height base consists of a base (27) with rod (2 & and nut (29) immobilizes either in a honeycomb (30> or in a cleat (31) placed in the honeycomb  40 Device according to claim 1 characterized by the fact that the shelves are fixed by bolts (32) with nuts (33) and tabs (34, 35) supporting the single (36) or double (37, 38) shelves, the spacers (39, 40) are immobilized either by bent rods (41) at 90 t and receiving orifices (L2), or by rectilinear rods (43) with clamping screw (44), a bumper (45) can be provided.
