Abstract

The multi-purpose structural unit for assembling furniture, shelves etc., comprises a combination of panels or boards (1) with modular dimensions whose edges are inclined twice at an angle of 45 deg. to a longitudinal flat section located between. Holes in the panels run parallel to the main surfaces and normal to the edges. Connector members are provided in the form of pegs (20) which fit into the holes and are rigidly connected together at right angles. The connector members are made of metal with a cubic body from which the pegs emerge.
