Abstract

This method makes it possible to recover roof space which is lost due to a lack of height in order to obtain recovered roof space with a change in the initial slope. It consists of a load-bearing tie-beam of cross-section 40 x 220 1, of two slopes of cross-section 40 x 220 2, of two vertical braces 3, of two diagonal braces 4 of 40 x 112, of a top beam 5 and of a strut 6. This assembly is put together 7 in the factory or on site. The truss 8 is slid on to a block 9 enabling it to be independent of the ceiling. The vertical braces 3 are cross-braced 10, the struts 6 are cross-braced 11 and then the Ws 12 are removed. The trusses are braced on the tie-beam 1 so that a floor may be laid.
