Abstract

Les couches décoratives noires utilisées dans l'art antérieur, pour objets d'utilisation courante, ces couches étant généralement des couches métalliques poreuses, ou des couches de carbone, présentent une résistance à l'usure et une qualité de surface défectueuses. L'invention prévoit des couches noires, brillantes et résistantes, qui consistent en oxycarbonitrures. La part de l'oxygène dans une couche est sensiblement plus grande que la part du carbone et de l'azote. La couche est constituée de préférence d'un oxycarbonitrure d'un alliage de Ti, Zr et Hf, la part de l'oxygène étant comprise entre 40 et 65 atomes pour cent. Application : finition décorative d'objets usuels, par exemple boîtiers et/ou bracelets de montres, bracelets, montures de lunettes.
