Abstract

Machine for cutting up thin rods. Machine for cutting thin rods at 45 DEG for producing frames of the type comprising a framework with a base equipped with an abutment bar and intended to support the thin rod to be cut and a cutter carried by a movable assembly and intended to make a cut at 45 DEG in the said thin rod carried by the base, characterised in that the framework consists of a vertical staff 1 comprising, at its upper end, a plate 7 provided with a dovetail groove in which a support 14 is guided, connected by a kinematic link to a pedal 19 for controlling the sliding of the support 14, the latter comprising a V-shaped part 26 supporting the cutter 27 with a V-shaped cross-section at 90 DEG and which has two wings 27a, 27b each ending in a cutting edge intended each to interact with corresponding edges of a counter-blade fixed to the base 8.
