Abstract

Device for the transportation of a motor chain-saw. The invention relates to a cover 1 equipped with one or two removable straps 2 enabling a motor chain-saw to be carried with ease. The invention consists of a cover 1 equipped with an opening, formed by a flap 5 closed by six buttons 6, permitting insertion of the motor chain-saw into the cover 1. It has a window 10 on the front face in order to allow the guide of the machine to project, as well as a pocket 3 on the side for storing small components. The straps 2 are removable so that the cover 1, equipped with one strap 2, can be slung across the shoulder, or, equipped with two straps 2, can be carried as a back pack. The straps 2 are equipped with hooks 9 which fasten to the cover 1 via rings 4. Each strap 2 is adjustable by virtue of a buckle 8 enabling its length to be adapted to the size of the user and has a loop 7 for protecting the shoulder.

Description

 The present invention relates to a storage and transport cover for chainsaws.

 The transport of chainsaws is currently carried out using the operating handle of the machine. The user therefore undergoes the entire weight of the chainsaw in one arm.

He is badly obliged to hold his chainsaw during all its journeys, resulting in rapid and significant fatigue. I1 must also have a bag for storing all the equipment (candles, screwdrivers, files, etc ...)
The invention makes it possible to remedy these drawbacks by facilitating the transport of the chainsaw as well as of the small material by reading the use of the carrying hand.

 It is in fact constituted by a waterproof canvas cover, yes, enveloped the body of the chainsaw.

 This trapezoidal cover, <characterizing most of the chainsaw bodies), has a flap on the right side closed by six buttons distributed around the perimeter. This flap allows you to easily insert the chainsaw into its storage.

 All the edges of the cover are reinforced by an overstitching which ensures better support of the cover as well as greater solidity.

 The cover has on the front a small window, dimension noe depending on the model, yes allows the passage of the guide of the chainsaw.

 This cover has four metal rings fixed to the four corners of the trapezoid. These rings are fixed at the end of the straps, they are sewn on the internal faces of the bases of the trapezoid in order to reinforce the solidity of its points of tr; ctions.

 These four rings allow the attachment of two straps.

These straps are provided at their ends with hooks which are hooked to the four rings.

 These straps are adjustable in length thanks to a self-locking loop in order to allow the user to adapt the strap to its morphology. They are also fitted with loops to absorb the weight of the machine in contact with the opal. These passers-by are brightly colored to allow easy identification of the cover when it is placed on the ground in the forest.

 These two straps make it possible to use the cover either as a pain bench and in this case a single strap is sufficient, or in "backpack" use in this case two straps are used.

 The cover also has on the op> os-e side to the flap, a pocket closed by two buttons allowing the storage of small equipment essential to the user of a chainsaw. (Candle wrench, file, screwdriver etc ...).

 According to a preferred embodiment, the canvas used is a P.V.C. canvas of the "truck tarpaulin" type because of its solidity and its tightness. Still in a preferred form, the closure of this cover is carried out by six buttons.

 Still in a preferential form, the guide is not wrapped in the cover, this allows adapting guides of different lengths on the same machine.

 Finally and always in a pr-fnrential form, the two straps are removable allowing two types of use either in the shoulder strap version (one strap) or in the backpack version (two straps).

 According to a first variant, the cover can be made of waterproof canvas of another material.

 According to a second variant, the cover may include an extension to protect the guide.

 According to a third variant, the closure system can be replaced either by pressures or by a "zipper" closure, or by any other closure means.

 The cover (1) shown in Figure 1 has a pocket (3), closed by two buttons (6), sized to receive the small maintenance material. This pocket (3) will have its opening directed towards the large trapezoid cati so as not to allow the tools to stink in case of forgetting to close especially in a backpack use. For convenience, this pocket (3) will be sewn before folding the cover (1). A strap (2) provided with its two hooks (9) fixed to two rings (4). These rings are attached to two pieces of strap to strengthen the traction points. The two pieces of strap will be sewn before folding the cover. The bright colored loop (7) can slide along the strap so that it can be positioned perfectly on the user's shoulder.

 The adjustment loop (S) will be located on the lower part of the strap (2) so as not to hinder the positioning of the loop (7).

 The cover (1) shown in Figure 2 pressents the flap (5) provided with its buttons (6).

 The four rings (4) and the eight buttons (ó) (six for the flap, two for the pocket) will be sewn at the end.

 The front face of the cover (1) shown in Figure 3 shows that the window (10) which allows the guide of the chainsaw to pass, will be made half in the small ribs of the flap (5) and half in the front of the cover (1).

 The cover (1) developed in FIG. 4 makes it possible to note that the type of shape chosen uses a cut of a single piece allowing a saving in sewing. Its industrial cutting will be facilitated.

 This cover according to the invention is therefore particularly intended for users of chainsaws both professionals and amateurs.
