Abstract

The flat closing the after-peak of the boat consists of a trap door 2 mounted pivotably about a horizontal axis 4 situated in the lower part of the after-peak 1 in such a manner that, after pivoting of the trap door, the latter constitutes a platform which gives access to an accommodation ladder 13 arranged in the opening of the flat 8. The trap door is equipped with a bathing ladder 12 which is pivoted and collapsible on the trap door. The accommodation ladder is, in its lower part, pivoted on the trap door or on a frame 3 and, in its upper part, bears against 14 the framework of the peak so as to, by exerting a simple thrust on the ladder, bring it onto the trap door, once the latter is in low position in order to allow the extraction and dropping of the life raft 15 located in the after-peak, behind the accommodation ladder.
