Abstract

The invention relates to an odour extractor for a W.C. bowl. The subject of the invention is an odour extractor for a W.C. bowl, which can be connected to a pipework network 8 which can be subjected to a partial vacuum, such as that used for the devices with dust-collecting stations. It comprises a sensor joined by a flexible pipe 5 to a valve or solenoid valve 6 controlled by an adjustable timer and, itself, connected to the pipework network. The sensor may be fixed to the bowl or to the water flushing apparatus. The timer controls the activation of the suction units of the dust-collecting station. Applications: particularly to W.C. bowls.

 The present invention relates to a toilet bowl odor extractor.

For this purpose, there is provided a system comprising an actual odor sensor, fixed directly on the upper edge of the bowl or at a point connected to the volume of air contained; in the bowl, a pipe sealingly connecting , this air intake to a valve, itself connected to the network of pipes that can be pressurized, such as in centralized vacuum systems.

 The actual sensor can be fixed directly on the upper edge of the bowl, in direct contact with the volume of air contained in the bowl.

The operation of the sensor is triggered by the opening of the valve or solenoid valve which, in turn, controls the suction unit of the centralized dedusting system.
The sketches below given as examples, illustrate two embodiments of the invantion.

 Figures 1, 2, 3 show a sensor directly mounted on the upper edge of the toilet bowl As shown, this sensor is constituted by a triangular case (9) comprising on a thin cssté an opening (10) opening on the bowl (4). This sensor is fixed to the upper edge of the bowl most favorable to the inventory and by means (12) of connection of the pipe (5) connecting with the rest of the device as described above. The various connecting pipes (5) (7) advantageously consist of flexible pipes of small diameter.

 The operation of the device is as follows: the suction of odors is carried out at the point of emission by the activation of the adjustable timer which controls the valve or solenoid valve and, simultaneously, the activation of the suction group of the dusting.

 For the device mounted on the flush, as soon as the suction unit of the depressurization unit is put into action, the top of the tank is in vacuum. Odors are evacuated through the overflow pipe (13) which communicates with the holes (14) for the arrival of water in the bowl. These, in turn, function as odor sensors.

 Finally, the invention is obviously not limited to the embodiments shown and described above, but covers, on the contrary, all variants.

 1-Odor extractor for W. cuvette. This can be connected to a network of pipes which can be placed under vacuum as used for the installations of central vacuum cleaning systems: seat, characterized by the fact that it includes a sensor ( 1,9) connected by a flexible hose (5) to a valve (6) itself connected to a network of pipes (8)  2-extractor according to claim la characterized in that the valve (6) is a valve or solenoid valve integrated into a control box comprising an adjustable timer controlling the valve and, simultaneously the setting in function of the suction unit of the dust removal unit .  3-Extrscteur according to claim 1 or 2, characterized by the fact that the sensor eet constituted by a flat triangular case (9), comprising on a side of small thickness an opening (10) opening on the bowl (4), this sensor being fixed on the upper edge (of the bowl (4) and comprising a means (12) for connection to the pipe (5) connecting with the valve (6).  4-extractor according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the capture of odors is done when the upper part (2) of the flush (3) comprises ma niera known per se connecting means for gas (13) (14) with the bowl (4) in the volume of air contained in the upper part (2) of the flush (3).
