Abstract

An integral flushing system with dual discharge and toilet bowl sealing function is described, comprising a sealed cylindrical vessel (4) having a resilient circular membrane (7) at its base. Water is supplied to the vessel by a pipe (9) with a pressure regulator (6). When water accumulates in the vessel, the upper air pressure is increased and the membrane (7) acquires a part spherical shape, thus sealing the waste discharge pipe. Actuation of a mechanical valve (5) causes the accumulated water to flow under pressure and the membrane retracts, thus clearing the discharge pipe. With the device of the invention, water-saving toilet bowls of simpler manufacture are obtained.

La figure 2 montre le fonctionnement d'un tel concept intégral : le dispositif est composé d'un réservoir cylindrique étanche (4) comportant d sa partie inférieure une membrane élastique (7) circulaire . Cette réserve d'eau est alimentée par uno~conduite (9) comportant un régulateur de pression (6).

L'obstruction est quasiment inexistante tandis que l'accès d la canalisation en aval de la cuvette devient possible
L'encombrement de la réserve étanche est limitée ce qui permet de l'intégrer directement & la cuvette (1) .La membrane peut être facilement réalisée en élastomère technique qui peut lui conférer une résistance mécanique extrême, une grande longévité et une parfaite etancheitó
Selon un mode de réalisation préférentiel , figure 3 ,la réserve étanche peut être placée dans la partie inférieure de la cuvette et une pédale (10) permet de déclencher la chasse.
