Abstract

The invention relates to a device making it possible to obtain light articulated panel assemblies, which can be oriented in any direction and are easy to transport. The hinge system, totally enclosed within the tube, allows both the orientation of the panels in any direction and the assembly of the elements of each of these panels. These articulations consist of cylindrical or partially cylindrical end pieces 1, on which are fitted the vertical elements of the frame 2. They are connected in pairs by a metallic tab, the actual articulation 3, by means of a rod fastened in the axis of each of them 4. On the internal side of the frame, a groove allows insertion of the support 5. The panel thus obtained, which can be used on both sides, are intended in particular for setting up travelling exhibitions. While simplifying the matters of storage and transport for such exhibitions, they permit, by simple unfolding, the rapid set-up in any venue. The organisers, moreover, are entirely free with regard to the assembly, the arrangement and the number of panels.

Ensemble de panneaux légers articulés, orientables en tous sens, se rabattant les uns sur les autres et aisément transportables. Conçus pour l'acheminement d'exposition n- rantes, ils peuvent servir de support d'expositions à demeure et aussi, simple élément de mobilier, de cloison mobile. Set of light articulated panels, swiveling in all directions, folding over each other and easily transportable. Chacun de ces panneaux se compose d'un cadre démon- table à l'intérieur duquel est insérée une feuille rigide de matière plastique (qui peut être identique à celle de la fabrication des cadres) ou de contreplaqué ou de toute autre matière
L'originalité-de ces panneaux réside dans le système des charnières. En effet, les articulations d'un panneau à un autre assurent également la rigidité des cadres. Ce sont des embouts en matière plastique cylindriques (ou cylindriques en partie, selon le profil choisi) sur lesquels viennent s'adapter et se visser les éléments verticaux. Ces embouts sont reliés deux par deux par une patte métallique (l'articulation proprement dite) au moyen d'une tige boulonnée ou maintenue autrement dans l'axe de chacun d'eux.

The originality of these panels lies in the hinge system. In fact, the articulations from one panel to another also ensure the rigidity of the frames.
