Abstract

Soundproof device for extracting air from motor vehicles of the type comprising an extraction opening formed in a bodywork panel 4a constituting an air evacuation duct 7 put in communication with the passenger compartment of the vehicle, one wall 4b of which carries an element with a dish configuration 15 turned towards an opening 10 for air outlet and fixed by its periphery inside the duct 7, characterised in that the element with the dish configuration 15 constitutes a sound trap and that it is open at its apex above a ventilation grid 12 so as to form a means allowing air coming from the passenger compartment to penetrate the duct 7 whilst acoustically insulating the latter.

L'invention concerne un dispositif insonorisé d'extraction d'air de véhicules automobiles du type comportant une ouverte ture d'extraction .formée sur un panneau de carrosserie constitutif d'un conduit d'évacuation d'air en communication avec l'habitacle du véhicule, dans lequel le conduit porte un élément à configuration de cuvette tournée vers une ouverture de sortie d'air et fixée par sa périphérie à l'intérieur du conduit afin de constituer une chambre d'évacuation d'air ouverte en son sommet au-dessus de l'ouverture de ventilation afin de former un moyen permettant à l'air provenant de l'habitacle et circulant dans le conduit d'évacuation d'y pénétrer.The invention relates to a soundproof device for extracting air from motor vehicles of the type comprising an extraction opening. A cet effet, la tôle de doublage 4b est percée d'une ouverture de sortie 10 partiellement obturée par un panneau de garnissage 11 et par une grille de ventilation 12.La grille de ventilation 12 possède à sa périphérie et sur deux côtés opposés de celle-ci un certain nombre de pattes de retenue 13 en retrait par rapport au plan de la face avant 12a de la grille dans le but de plaquer ladite face dans le plan de la tôle de doublage 4b ou du panneau de garnissage et de recouvrir le bord~latéral de l'ouverture 10 ou de l'ouverture en correspondance découpée dans le panneau 11 par les bords correspondants de la grille 12 ne portant pas de patte da retenue. La face arrière 12b de la grille 12 est limitée latéralement par un bord d'assemblage 14 sur lequel est plaqué par collage l'élément en forme de cuvette 15 dont l'ouverture 16 est orientée vers le haut. L'élément en forme de cuvette 15 délimite de la sorte avec la grille 12 un piège à son 17 ouvert en son sommet au-dessus de la grille de ventilation 12 afin d'isoler phoniquement l'habitacle du conduit 7 sans perturber la circulation d'air entre l'habitacle et l'extérieur représenté par le circuit fléché selon lequel l'air contenu dans l'habitacle pénètre au-travers de la grille 12 dans l'élément 15 puis dans le conduit 7.The outer panel 4a is pe-rced with an air extraction opening 6 which can be masked.
