Abstract

The invention relates to a detachable partition to be put in place across a duct 3 or a tunnel containing pipes 4 and cables 5. The device consists of a small flexible skirt 16 made of fibreglass cloth suspended from a rod 6. The strips 10 are frayed out at the lower end 11 so as to fit around the outlines of the pipes and cables 4, 5. Application to fire-fighting, particularly to prevent the spread of smoke in ducts and tunnels.

Claims
