CETTE ARETE ANTERIEURE 12 EST AFFILEE DE TELLE MANIERE QU'IL SE FORME DEUX SURFACES DE SOUDAGE SYMETRIQUES, PERMETTANT AINSI D'OBTENIR LORS D'UN SEUL PROCESSUS DE COUPE SIMULTANEMENT DE PART ET D'AUTRE DE L'ARETE UN CORDON DE SOUDURE LONGITUDINAL. Description

Appareil de soudage à sectionnement pour bandes de feuille en matière
plastique superposées La présente invention concerne un appareil de soudage à sectionnement pour bandes de feuille en matière
plastique superposées destinées à l'emballage d'objets.
Dans des appareils de soudage a sectionnement connus de ce genre le transport des bandes de feuille en matière plastique en direction de l'outil de soudage 1) tranchant s'effectue le plus souvent entre des paires de courrcies sans fin. Celles-ci servent non seulement & amener les bandes de feuille mais en même temps à maintenir ce] les-ci afin d'obtenir un cordon de soudure uniforme et
exempt de plis.
1 Entre les courroies supérieures des paires de courroies sans fin est généralement monté l'outil de soudage tranchant qui est de manière connue réalisé sous les formes les plus diverses en tant que lame chauffée électriquement. Ainsi on connaît par exemple des lames 0 circulaires rotatives, des lames montées verticalement et
d'autres organes de soudage tranchants.
De tels appareils de soudage à sectionnement posent des problèmes dans la mesure o la feuille de matière plastique souple chauffée lors du processus de soudage par sectionnement adhère aux outils de soudage tranchants ou les part-ies des feuilles en matière plastique séparées zolleT & fnouveau au cordon de soudure encore chaud. On cocinnaet des appareils de refroidissement qui, afin de remédier à ces inconvénients, se chargent par exemple au 0 wioyen de supports de feuille refroidis par eau ou de courroies additionnelles de la dissipation de la chaleur dans le milieu environnant de façon à refroidir le cordon de soudure. Sont en outre connus des appareils dans les= quels il est communiqué aux organes de soudage tranchants, outre leur mouvement relatif par rapport à la bande de feuille en matière plastique, un mouvement oscillant. Ainsi les organes de soudage tranchants sont constamment animés
d'un mouvement évitant l'adhérence de la feuille.
Abstraction faite des complications techniques importantes que cela comporte, ces appareils ne permettent le plus souvent d'exécuter qu'un seul cordon de soudure longitudinal latéral suffisamment solide. Cela veut dire qu'ils ne conviennent pas pour un mode de travail à effet multiple dans lequel plusieurs rangées d'objets disposées parallèlement sont emballées simultanément dans des
feuilles de matière plastique par soudage de celles-ci.
En conséquence, la présente invention a pour but de créer un appareil de soudage à sectionnement qui, en évitant les inconvénients mentionnés, permette un mode de
travail à effet multiple.
Selon l'invention ce but est atteint par le fait
que l'outil de soudage tranchant présente une arete anté-
rieure affilée, inclinée par rapport au plan des bandes de feuille en matière synthétique et qui forme deux surfaces de soudage symétriques et qu'il peut être écarté du plan
des bandes de feuille par basculement.
A cet égard l'outil de soudage tranchant est écar-
té, en le faisant basculer vers l'extérieur, selon l'in-
vention au moyen d'un mécanisme de commande pneumatique mais il peut également s'agir d'une commande de type
mécanique ou électromécanique.
Pour le chauffage de l'outil de soudage tranchant est prévue une cartouche chauffante. Le réglage s'effectue
au moyen d'un capteur de température. Pour ces deux dispo-
sitifs sont prévus selon l'invention, dans l'outil de sou-
dage tranchant, des logements récepteurs correspondants.
Les courroies sans fin pour le transport des feuil-
les sont réalisées en tant que courroies crantées afin
d'obtenir l'absence de glissement prévue selon l'invention.
Une autre caractéristique de l'invention consiste

en ce que pour le refroidissement du cordon de soudure des feuilles ainsi que pour le refroidissement du guide des courroies et pour éviter que la feuille soudée par sectionnement ne colle à sa contrepartie il est prévu de l'air soufflé. Le fait que l'outil de soudage tranchant soit réalisé de façon à présenter deux surfaces de soudage permet de réaliser simultanément deux cordons de soudure longitudinaux de sorte que le mode de fonctionnement de
l'appareil est à effet multiple.
Du fait que l'outil de soudage tranchant peut être écarté en cas d'arrêt de la machine un collage éventuel de la feuille en matière plastique à cet outil ainsi qu'une pénétration ou une dissipation de la feuille par fusion au niveau de l'outil de soudage tranchant sont évités à coup sur. L'utilisation de courroies crantées en tant qu'organes transporteurs pour les bandes de feuille en matière plastique permet à celles-ci d'être amenées sans
glissement et donc sans plis.
Au moyen de l'air soufflé amené en aval de l'outil
de soudage tranchant la feuille déjà soudée par sectionne-
ment est empêchée de coller & sa contrepartie. En même temps le guide de courroie et la feuille sont refroidis par
cet air soufflé.
L'invention est expliquée plus en détail ci-dessous à l'aide d'un exemple de réalisation illustré aux dessins annexés sur lesquels: la figure 1 représente de manière simplifiée, en vue latérale, l'appareil de soudage à sectionnement selon l'invention; la figure 2 représente, de manière agrandie par rapport à la figure 1, l'outil de soudage tranchant observé dans le sens de la flèche x de la figure 1; et la figure 3 représente l'outil de soudage tranchant
observé dans le sens de la flèche y de la figure 1.
Au moyen de paires de courroies sans fin réalisées en tant que courroies crantées et dont sur la figure 1 n'est représentée qu'une courroie supérieure 1 les deux bandes de feuille en matière plastique, dont il n'est également indiqué, en trait mixte, que la bande de feuille supérieure 2, sont amenées dans le sens de la flèche A. La courroie 1 circulant sur des poulies 3, 4 et un tendeur 6 glisse dans la zone de passage des feuilles dans un guide 7. La seconde courroie supérieure, non visible sur la figure 1, montée parallèlement & la courroie 1 circule
de la même façon que cette dernière.
Entre les deux courroies supérieures 1 est monté un outil de soudage tranchant chauffé 8 qui dans la position de travail est placé sur le parcours des feuilles et peut dans le cas d'un arrêt de la machine être écarté au moyen d'un mécanisme de commande pneumatique 9 qui lui permet de
basculer autour de l'axe 11.
L'outil de soudage tranchant 8 présente une arête antérieure 12 inclinée par rapport au plan des bandes 2 de
feuille en matière plastique. Cette arête antérieure incli-
née 12 est affilée sur toute sa longueur de façon à former deux surfaces de soudage symétriques 13, 14 (figures 2 et 3) de sorte qu'il est possible de réaliser simultanément au cours d'un seul processus de coupe deux cordons de soudure longitudinaux. Ceci permet un mode de fonctionnement dit à
effet multiple de l'appareil.
Pour chauffer l'outil de soudage tranchant 8 il est prévu une cartouche chauffante (non représentée) qui est placée dans un logement récepteur 16 prévu dans l'outil de soudage tranchant 8. Au-dessus du logement récepteur 16 se trouve un autre logement récepteur 17 pour un capteur de température non représenté. En un endroit situé dans le sens de transport des feuilles à la suite de l'outil de soudage tranchant 8 sont prévues des buses à air soufflé 18 qui servent au refroidissement des cordons de soudure des feuilles ainsi qu'au refroidissement du guide de courroie 7 et empêchent la feuille soudée par sectionnement de coller
à sa contrepartie.

Claims (4)

REVENDICATIONS
1 - Appareil de soudage à sectionnement pour deux bandes de feuille en matière plastique superposées destinées à l'emballage d'objets entre ces dernières, dans lequel sont prévues pour l'amenée des bandes de feuille en matière plastique des paires de courroies sans fin entre lesquelles est monté un outil de soudage tranchant chauffé, caractérisé en ce que l'outil de soudage tranchant (8) présente une arête antérieure affilée (12) inclinée par rapport au plan des bandes de feuille (2) en matière plastique et qui forme deux surfaces de soudage symétriques (13, 14) et en ce qu'il peut être écarté du plan des bandes
de feuille par basculement.
2 - Appareil de soudage à sectionnement selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que pour permettre à
l'outil (8) de soudage tranchant d'être écarté par bascule-
ment est prévu un mécanisme de commande pneumatique (9).
3 - Appareil de soudage à sectionnement selon la revendication 1 ou 2, caractérisé en ce que l'outil de soudage tranchant (8) est muni d'une cartouche chauffante et d'un capteur de température et présente pour ceuxci
respectivement un logement récepteur approprié (16; 17).
4 - Appareil de soudage à sectionnement selon la revendication 1, caractérisé par des courroies sans fin (1)
réalisées sous la forme de courroies crantées afin d'obte-
nir un transport des feuilles sans glissement.
- Appareil de soudage a sectionnement selon l'une
quelconque des revendications précédentes, caractérisé en
ce que pour le refroidissement du cordon de soudure des feuilles ainsi que pour le refroidissement du guide 7 de courroie et afin d'éviter que la feuille soudée par sectionnement ne colle à sa contrepartie il est prévu de
l'air soufflé.
