Abstract

The invention relates to a mechanical device making it possible to hold a metal walkway 2 in place on a section 5. According to the basic model, it consists of a metal plate 1 traversed by a machine screw 3 which is screwed into a tapped flange 4. After assembling the said components on the walkway 2 and the placing the latter on the beam 5 the screw 3 is tightened. This screw rotates the flange 4 through a quarter turn, one end of which flange engages under the wing of the section 5; the flange 4 ascends and holds the assembly. According to a variant, the device can be adapted to walkways made from folded metal sheet. The device according to the invention is intended for fastening walkways used in industrial buildings and civil engineering works.
