Abstract

The invention relates to a support structure for the cantilevered fixing of a sanitary device to a wall having an internal framework. <??>According to the invention, this support structure comprises, connected to one another, all in one piece, by two jambs (31), two cross pieces (32, 33) at least one of which, the upper cross piece (32), has at least one pair of pierced holes (34) and, in practice, a plurality of such pierced holes (34) suitable for fixing the sanitary device (11) in question, with, jointly, locating means (45, 50, 55, 58) capable of enabling at least one conduit or duct, suitable for supplying such a sanitary device (11), to be secured thereto at a given point. <??>Application to the cantilevered fixing of any type of sanitary device whatsoever. <IMAGE>

Description

The present invention relates generally to the console mounting of any sanitary appliance, such as, for example, sinks, bidets or toilet bowls.

As is known, in certain premises, and in particular in those for collective use, it is more and more frequently envisaged to fix in console at least some of the sanitary appliances to have there, instead of providing these sanitary appliances with a foot suitable for their direct support from the ground, both to facilitate the cleaning of this ground at their level and to limit the depredations of which they may be the object.

The present invention relates more particularly to the case where such a console mounting is done on a frame partition, that is to say on a partition comprising, on the one hand, a frame, formed in practice of uprights which, arranged from place to place, are engaged, at their base, in a low rail carried by the ground, and, at their upper end, in a high rail fixed to the ceiling, and, on the other hand, suitably attached covering panels, in practice by screwing, on such a frame.

The mechanical resistance presented by such a frame effectively makes it possible to subject the sanitary fixtures to be fixed there in a console.

But this subjugation implies the implementation, at an appropriate height, between two uprights of such a framework or between two specific uprights attached to the previous ones and suitably subject to them, of a support structure, commonly called "chair" , more specifically adapted for this purpose.

The problem in producing such a support structure is twofold.

On the one hand, it is important that it can be satisfied with different installation dimensions for the fixtures to be fixed, even though these installation dimensions in practice frequently vary from one sanitary appliance to another, depending on the nature and / or the provenance of such a sanitary appliance, and, on the other hand, it is important that it allows a height adjustment of the sanitary appliance which is thus fixed to it.

In practice, taking into account these requirements, a specific support structure is most often provided per type of sanitary appliance to be fixed, to the detriment of standardization and costs.

However, a support structure has already been proposed which is suitable for fixing sanitary devices of different types, this support structure being formed, to allow the corresponding position adjustments, on the one hand, of two legs, which are intended to carry directly on the ground by entering the corresponding bottom rail, and, on the other hand, mounted adjustable in height on these legs, these forming for this purpose slides, of two crosspieces, one upper, l 'other lower, which themselves form slides to satisfy the different possible installation dimensions for fixtures to fix.

In practice, this results in a rather complex embodiment, and, the position adjustments to be made not being made in a positive manner, a certain uncertainty as to the precision of these adjustments and their durability during the manipulations to be carried out during the mounting to be ensured. .

In addition, in such an embodiment, no particular provision is made for the subjugation of the conduits or pipes necessary for serving the sanitary appliance concerned.

It has also been proposed, in document DE-A-3,410,499, a support structure comprising, connected to one another by two legs, two crosspieces, with, jointly, locating means capable of allowing 'subject at least one pipe or pipeline suitable for serving the relevant sanitary appliance to a given location.

But, in addition to the sleepers of this support being made up of parts which, distinct from the uprights with which they are associated, are to be attached using fasteners and screws on these uprights, none of these sleepers is suitable for carrying by itself in console the sanitary appliance concerned.

Indeed, that of these sleepers which carries this device is in fact connected by rods to wall plates to be fixed on the wall of the room concerned.

This results in additional subjection.

In document CH-A-462.558, reference is also made to a support capable of constituting by itself locating means for pipes or conduits ensuring the service of sanitary appliances, without however being a question to be able to fix them in console.

It is therefore necessary to also ensure the installation of these sanitary devices.

The present invention generally relates to a support structure which, suitable for console mounting of any sanitary appliance, is free from the drawbacks briefly described above and also leads to other advantages.

This support structure is of the type comprising, connected to one another by two legs, two crosspieces, with, jointly, locating means able to allow it to be subjected to at a given location at least one clean pipe or pipe. at the service of such a sanitary appliance, and, according to a first aspect, it is characterized in that the crosspieces are in one piece with the jambs, these jambs are established at a distance from each other of the ends of each of these crosspieces and are inclined in a V relative to each other by approaching one of the other from the upper crosspiece to the lower crosspiece, and at least one of the crosspieces present at the minus a pair of holes arranged symmetrically with respect to each other on either side of a vertical median axis and suitable for fixing the console of the sanitary appliance concerned.

Thus, and according to this first aspect, the support structure according to the invention is advantageously in a monobloc form, easy to handle and to implement and suitable for ensuring positively, and therefore safely, the position adjustments at which it must give rise.

From this point of view, the upper cross member of the support structure according to the invention has, in practice, a plurality of pairs of holes established so as to enable it to be satisfied with all the installation dimensions, duly standardized, various sanitary appliances likely to be affected.

It turns out, in fact, that the number of pairs of holes thus to be implemented is relatively small, and that it is therefore only redundantly that any slide could be substituted for them.

Thus, according to the invention, the same piece, advantageously in one piece, and with duly pre-established holes, is advantageously suitable, universally, for all the sanitary appliances likely to be concerned.

In addition, this same part, the support structure according to the invention, is advantageously suitable for fixing, not only, such a sanitary appliance, and, more precisely, the porcelain part thereof, but also to the fixing of the pipe or pipes specific to its service.

According to a second aspect, the support structure according to the invention is further characterized in that, two uprights, each arranged respectively at the ends of its crosspieces, associated with it for its maintenance, said uprights each comprising two wings by which they are capable of framing said ends, at least one of the wings of each of said uprights comprises, along its length , an alignment of perforations forming a rack, and, by at least one of its crosspieces, the support structure is engaged with the rack which both of these uprights thus have, each of the ends of such a crosspiece being for this purpose equipped with a clamp having transversely projecting a lug adapted to engage in any of the perforations of such a rack.

This results in an advantageous saving in installation time.

Indeed, this pose is done very simply in two stages.

Initially, the uprights being arranged flat, in alignment with one another, the support structure, equipped with its slats, is presented at an angle with respect to these uprights, and, by a simple tilting leading to its straightening in the plane of these, it is simply proceeded to the engagement of the lugs of its slats in their racks.

In a second step, the uprights are in turn erected vertically, by tilting around the lugs of the slats of the support structure, which leads them to come to engage, by their wings, on the ends of the crosspieces of this structure. support, and thus to lock it in position.

In service, the pins of the clamps are only the object of a simple shearing force, the tilting moment which is also the object of the entire support structure being very simply abutted by the uprights with which it is engaged by these louvers, whether it is directly to the uprights of the corresponding framework, or whether it is to the uprights specific contiguous to such amounts and suitably secured to them.

Preferably, and according to a development of this aspect of the invention, each of the clamps thus used constitutes a screw jack.

Thus, it is advantageously possible to make a fine adjustment of the height at which the sanitary appliance is located, this height adjustment being previously roughed out by an appropriate choice of the perforations of the racks of the uprights with which the corresponding slats are engaged. .

As illustrated in these figures, it is a question, overall, of ensuring the fixing, in console, on a partition comprising an internal framework 10, of any sanitary appliance 11, of which only the ears 12 suitable for such a fastening have been shown diagrammatically, in broken broken lines, in FIG. 1.

In a manner known per se, and as shown diagrammatically in FIG. 10, the framework 10 of the partition thus to be fitted comprises, from place to place, uprights 13, which, extending from the ground 14 to the ceiling 15, are engaged , at their base, in a low rail 16 fixed to the ground 14, and, at their upper part, in a high rail 17 fixed to the ceiling 15.

In a manner also known per se, these uprights 13 generally have a transverse profile in C, with a straight middle part 18 and two lateral wings 19 which, parallel to one another, are substantially perpendicular to the middle part 18.

In a manner also known per se, finally, the fixture of the sanitary appliance 11 concerned is made using threaded studs 20 capable of cooperating with nuts 21, and, depending on the nature of this sanitary appliance 11, provision must be made , for its service, and as shown schematically in thin lines in Figure 1, at least one pipe, pipe or other piping.

If it is, for example, a sink, it is necessary to provide, on the one hand, at least, a water supply pipe 23, and, in practice, two such pipes 23, one for cold water, and the other for hot water, and, on the other hand, a discharge pipe 24.

In the case of a bidet, two water supply pipes 23 and a drainage pipe 24 must also be provided, but it goes without saying that the installation of these pipes 23 and that of this pipe 24 is then made at heights different from those used for a sink.

If it is, finally, a toilet bowl, it is necessary to provide, at levels different from the previous ones, on the one hand, a water supply pipe 25, for its connection to the flushing tank of corresponding water, and, on the other hand, a discharge pipe 26.

These provisions being well known in themselves, and not falling within the scope of the present invention, they will not be described in more detail here.

In a manner known per se, finally, it is implemented, for the console mounting of the sanitary appliance 11 concerned, a support structure 30 comprising, connected to one another by two legs 31, two cross members 32 , 33, one upper, the other lower, with, jointly, and according to arrangements described in more detail later, locating means capable of making it possible to subject therein to at a given location at least any pipe or pipe, such as the pipes 24, 26 or the pipes 23, 25, suitable for serving this sanitary appliance 11.

According to the invention, the sleepers 32, 33 are in one piece with the legs 31, these legs 31, which, in practice, extend symmetrically with respect to each other on either side of a median vertical axis M shown schematically in broken lines in FIG. 2, are inclined in V relative to one another, while approaching one another from the upper cross member 32 to the lower cross member 33, they are established at a distance from one and from the other of the ends of each of the crosspieces 32, 33, in practice defining between them a space 42, and at least one of these crosspieces 32, 33, in practice the upper crosspiece 32, has at least one pair of holes 34 arranged symmetrically with respect to each other on either side of the vertical median axis M and suitable for fixing the sanitary appliance 11 concerned .

Thus, the support structure according to the invention is in the form of a single piece unit.

It is for example a part made of cast aluminum.

In the embodiment shown, each of its cross members 32, 33 is in the general form, at least in its current part, of an angle iron, with a vertical wing 36 and a horizontal wing 37.

From the upper cross member 32 to the lower cross member 33 the vertical wings 36 are coplanar.

Similarly, in the embodiment shown, each of the legs 31 is in the form of an angle iron, with a wing 38 disposed in the plane of the wings 36 of the cross members 32, 33, in continuity therewith, and a wing 39 perpendicular to the previous one.

In the embodiment shown, the latter continues up to the horizontal wing 37 of the lower cross member 33.

But these various provisions are not imperative.

In the embodiment shown, the cross members 32 and 33, which are generally parallel to each other, have same length, and, for reasons which will appear later, each of their ends forms an ear 40, with piercing 41.

In practice, the ears 40 thus presented by the crosspieces 32, 33 are formed by extensions, beyond their vertical wing 36, of their only horizontal wing 37.

Preferably, and as shown, the upper cross member 32 has a plurality of pairs of holes 34.

For example, there are thus four pairs of holes 34 aligned along the length of this crosspiece 32.

These holes 34 are in practice established so as to correspond, in pairs, to one or the other of the installation dimensions D of the sanitary appliances 11 likely to be concerned.

By installation dimensions D is meant here, as noted in FIG. 1, the distance separating from one another the holes of the ears 12 of such a sanitary appliance 11.

Practice shows that four pairs of holes 34 are sufficient to satisfy all of the installation dimensions D which may have to be respected.

Only the upper crosspiece 32 thus has holes 34 suitable for fixing a sanitary appliance 11.

In line with each of these holes 34 extends, projecting from the horizontal flange 37 of this cross-member 32, a boss 43 capable of limiting the engagement, in such a hole 34, of the threaded stud 20 necessary for such fixing .

In other words, the distance d between such a boss 43 and the vertical wing 36 of the upper cross member 32 is just sufficient to allow insertion, between this boss 43 and this vertical wing 36, as shown schematically by the arrow F1 on the Figure 4, the nut 21 with which must cooperate in screwing the threaded stud 20 corresponding.

Thus, there is advantageously no need to provide any lock nut for blocking such a threaded stud 20.

In the embodiment shown, the thickness of the bosses 43 thus used is less than the diameter of the corresponding holes 34.

In the embodiment shown, the locating means that comprises the support structure 30 thus formed comprise a cradle 45, which, disposed on its upper crosspiece 32, in the middle part thereof, and as shown schematically in fine lines in FIG. 1, is capable of receiving a flange 46 suitable for securing any pipe or pipeline, in this case the pipeline 25.

In practice, this cradle 45 belongs to a flange 47 which projects from the horizontal wing 37 of the upper cross member 32, along the edge of the latter opposite its vertical wing 36, parallel to this vertical wing 36, and, in line with this flange 47, the latter has, in its median zone, a notch 48 specific to the passage of the pipe 25.

On either side of the cradle 45, the flange 47 carries two threaded studs 49 suitable for fixing the flange 46.

The locating means that the support structure comprises 30 further comprise two legs 50, which, each carried respectively by its two legs 31, extend transversely relative to its vertical median axis M, and which, for the subjection of any pipe or pipeline, in this case pipe 26, each has a bore 52 suitable for fixing, in collar, as shown diagrammatically in fine lines in FIG. 1, of two flanges 54 suitable for such securing.

In practice, these legs 50 extend substantially at mid-height, between the crosspieces 32, 33, parallel to these, by connecting the two wings 38, 39 of the jamb 31 which carries them to one another.

In the embodiment shown, their bore 52 is elongated in a buttonhole perpendicular to the wing 38 of the legs 31, and therefore perpendicular to the general mean plane of the assembly.

In the embodiment shown, the locating means that comprises the support structure 30 according to the invention further comprise, on each of these legs 31, at least one bore 55 suitable for the passage of any pipe or pipe, in a line 23.

In practice, each of the legs 31 thus has, side by side, established at the same level, on its vertical wing 38, two holes 55 each capable of passing a pipe 23, and the innermost of these holes 55, it that is to say the one closest to the vertical median axis M of the assembly, is established by means of an ear 56 which has such a protrusion locally projecting 31 in the direction of this vertical median axis M.

The locating means that the support structure 30 according to the invention comprises, finally, a bore 58 which, disposed on its lower cross member 33, in the central region thereof, and more precisely in the central region of the horizontal wing 37 of this lower cross member 33, is suitable for fitting, as shown in thin lines or broken in FIGS. 1 and 2, a collar 59 suitable for the subjection of any pipe or pipe, in this case conduct 24.

Supported by a threaded rod 60, which passes through the bore 58 of the crosspiece 33, and cooperates with nuts on either side thereof, this collar 59 is advantageously adjustable in height.

For the possible passage of the pipe 24 for the low position of this collar 59, the wing 36 of the lower cross member 33 has, in its median zone, a notch 62, in continuity with the space 42 formed between the legs 31, and the distance separating one from the other the ears 56 from the latter is made sufficient so that this pipe 24 can also extend if necessary at the level of these ears 56 for a high position of the collar 59.

As will be noted, the axis of the holes 34 and 55 extends perpendicular to the general mean plane of the assembly, and it is therefore a horizontal axis.

On the other hand, the axis of the holes 52 and 58 extends parallel to the general mean plane of the assembly, and it is therefore a vertical axis.

For mounting and maintaining the support structure 30 according to the invention, it is associated with it, as visible in FIGS. 8 to 10, two uprights 65.

We will first assume below that these are specific amounts, distinct from the amounts 13 of the framework 10.

Like the latter, they have a straight middle part 66, and, perpendicular to it, two lateral wings 67.

For each of these uprights 65, at least one of the lateral wings 67 comprises, along its length, an alignment of perforations 68 forming a rack, and therefore preferably arranged in a regular pitch.

For example, these are perforations with a generally quadrangular outline.

In the embodiment shown in FIGS. 8 to 11, each of the lateral wings 67 of an upright 65 thus has perforations 68, which advantageously makes it possible to use such an undifferentiated manner upright 65 to the right or to the left of the support structure 30.

However, as a variant, and as shown in FIG. 12, only one of the lateral wings 67 of such an upright 65 can, if desired, thus present perforations 68.

Anyway, the two uprights 65 thus associated with the support structure 30 are intended to be arranged each respectively at the ends of the crosspieces 32, 33 thereof, and, by their lateral wings 67, they are capable of frame these ends, which here, and as described above, each have an ear 40.

To be engaged with the rack which, by the perforations 68 of at least one of their lateral wings 67, one and the other of the uprights 65, each of the ends of at least one of the crosspieces 32, 33 of this support structure 30 is equipped with a clamp 70 having, transversely projecting, a lug 71 suitable for engaging in any of the perforations 68 of such a rack.

In the embodiment shown, it is the lower cross member 33 which is thus fitted with clips 70, by means of the ears 40 formed by its ends, each of these ears 40 being able, by its bore 41, to allow report such a clamor 70.

Preferably, each of the clamps 70 with which the support structure 30 according to the invention is thus equipped constitutes a screw jack.

It comprises, in practice, a threaded rod 72, by which it is capable of being secured, in an adjustable manner in position, to the lower cross member 33 concerned, by cooperation with two nuts 73 each acting respectively on either side of the bore 41 of the corresponding ear 40 thereof, and a hooking block 74, which carries said threaded rod 72, and which has, jointly, at its base, the lug 71 suitable for the cooperation of the assembly with the rack formed by the perforations 68 of the amount 65 associated.

In the embodiment shown, the hooking block 74 of such a clamp 70 has, externally, a square profile, the lug 71 projecting from the middle part of the edge of the horizontal wing of this square while, by its vertical wing, and therefore on the side opposite to this lug 71, the latter is able to cooperate in abutment with the corresponding lateral wing 67 of the associated upright 65.

As already succinctly described above, the installation of the support structure 30 according to the invention is done in two stages.

Firstly, FIGS. 8A and 8B, the uprights 65 are placed flat on the ground, in alignment with one another, and, presented at an angle, FIG. 8A, the support structure 30 is engaged, by the latching block 74 of its lugs 70, in these uprights 65, until penetration of the lug 71 of these lugs 70 into one of the perforations 68 of the corresponding upright 65, then it is straightened, vertically, in the plan of the uprights 65, FIG. 8B.

In a second step, the uprights 65 are erected vertically, by pivoting around the pins 71 of the clamps 70 of the support structure 30, according to the arrows F2 in FIG. 8B, until, by their lateral wings 67, they engage the ends of the cross members 32 and 33 of this support structure 30, FIG. 8C.

In the manner of the uprights 13 of the frame 10, the uprights 65 thus carrying the support structure 30 according to the invention are then engaged, at their base, in the low rail 16 placed on the ground 14, between two of said uprights 13.

The arrangements are such that they are then attached to these uprights 13, and that they can be joined to them, by any appropriate means, for example by bolting.

It suffices, then, to fix the sanitary appliance 11 concerned, and of the pipes or conduits necessary for serving it.

As will have been understood, by an appropriate choice of the perforations 68 of the uprights 65 with which is engaged, by its clamps 70, the support structure 30, then by an intervention on the screw jacks which these clamps 70 constitute. , it is possible, before the installation of the support structure 30, to ensure that, after this installation, it is located at a height suitable for the sanitary appliance 11 then to be fixed there.

In the foregoing, and according to an arrangement commonly known as a "bench", the uprights 65 extend only over part of the height of the uprights 13 of the frame 12, locally doubling these at their base.

As a variant, in FIG. 13, they can equally well extend over the entire height of these uprights 13, or even, as shown, form a single piece 76 with them.

In the embodiment shown, this part 76 constitutes a profile, which, produced by folding, has, in H, on a first side, and in a single thickness, suitable for allowing the covering panels to be fixed therein. of the partition concerned, the lateral wings 18 of an upright 13, and, on the other side, in continuity with the previous ones, but with a double thickness specific to the mechanical resistance necessary for them, the lateral wings 67 of an amount 65.

As before, at least one of these wings 67, and for example each of these, has from place to place perforations 68 forming a rack, produced for example by punching with a roller.

As illustrated in FIG. 15, the perforations 68 thus presented by at least one of the lateral wings 67 of an amount 65 can also be used for the subjection, to such amount 65, of a tab 78 suitable for fixing a flush tank 79.

At one of its ends, which is square, for cooperation in support with the lateral wings 67 of a amount 65, this tab 78 has a lug 71 suitable for engaging in one of the perforations 68 thereof.

At the other of its ends, which is also square, it has, along the corresponding edge, an ear 80 suitable for fixing the flush tank 79 concerned.

For example, and as shown, this ear 80, which is in continuity with one of the wings of the corresponding bracket, comes from a punctured 81 of the other wing thereof.

Of course, the present invention is not limited to the embodiments described and shown, but encompasses any variant of execution and / or implementation.

In particular, instead of equipping the lower crossmember of the support structure according to the invention, the slits specific to the subjugation of this support structure to the uprights which are associated with it can equally well equip the upper crossmember.

This is why a tab is also provided at each of the ends thereof.

Claims (19)

1. A support structure for a sanitary appliance to be bracket-mounted, of the type comprising, connected together by two legs (31), two crosspieces (32, 33) together with locating means for fastening thereto at a given location at least one conduit or pipe (23, 24, 25, 26) for serving such a sanitary appliance (11), characterised in that the crosspieces (32, 33) are in one piece with the legs (31), said legs (31) are disposed at a spacing from one and other of the ends of each of said crosspieces (32, 33) and are inclined in a V-shaped configuration relative to each other, converging towards each other from the upper crosspiece (32) to the lower crosspiece (33), and one at least of the crosspieces (32, 33) has at least one pair of apertures (34) disposed symmetrically relative to each other on respective sides of a central vertical axis (M) and suitable for bracket-mounting of the sanitary appliance (11) in question.
2. A support structure according to claim 1 characterised in that the upper crosspiece (32) has a plurality of pairs of apertures (34).
3. A support structure according to claim 2 characterised in that the apertures in the upper crosspiece (32) are aligned along its length.
4. A support structure according to any one of claims 1 to 3 characterised in that only the upper crosspiece (32) has apertures (34) suitable for fixing a sanitary appliance (11).
5. A support structure according to any one of claims 1 to 4 characterised in that, extending opposite each of the apertures (34) for fixing a sanitary appliance (11) is a boss (43) for limiting the engagement into such an aperture of the bolt (20) necessary for such fixing.
6. A support structure according to any one of claims 1 to 5 characterised in that the locating means which it includes comprise a cradle (45) which, disposed on its upper crosspiece (32), in the middle part thereof, is arranged to receive a clamp (46) for fastening a pipe (25).

A support structure according to any one of claims 1 to 6 characterised in that the locating means which it includes comprise two lugs (50) which, each respectively carried by its two legs (31), extend transversely with respect to its central vertical axis (M) and which, for fastening a conduit (26), each have an aperture (52) for fixing in the form of a collar two clamps (54) suitable for such a fastening.
8. A support structure according to any one of claims 1 to 7 characterised in that the locating means which it includes comprise, on each of its legs (31), at least one aperture (55) for a pipe (23) to pass therethrough.
9. A support structure according to claim 8 characterised in that each of its legs (31) has two apertures (55) each suitable for a pipe (23) to pass therethrough.
10. A support structure according to claim 9 characterised in that said apertures (55) are disposed at the same level.
11. A support structure according to any one of claims 1 to 10 characterised in that the most inward of the two apertures (55) in a leg (31) is provided by means of a lug portion (56) which said leg (31) has projecting locally in the direction of the central vertical axis (M) of the assembly.
12. A support structure according to any one of claims 1 to 11 characterised in that the locating means which it includes comprise an aperture (53) which, disposed on its lower crosspiece (33), in the middle zone thereof, is suitable for positioning a collar (59) for fastening a conduit (24).
13. A support structure according to any one of claims 1 to 12 characterised in that its crosspieces (32, 33) are of the same length.
14. A support structure according to any one of claims 1 to 13 characterised in that, two uprights (65) which are each respectively disposed at the ends of its crosspieces (32, 33) being associated with the support structure for holding same in position, said uprights (65) each comprising two flanges (67) by means of which they are capable of enclosing said ends, one at least of the flanges (67) of each of said uprights (65) comprises along its length a row of perforations (68) forming a rack and, by means of one at least of its crosspieces (32, 33), the support structure (30) is engaged with the rack which both of said uprights (65) thus have, each of the ends of such a crosspiece (32, 33) being provided for that purpose with a cramp arrangement (70) which in transversely projecting relationship has a detent portion (71) for engaging into any one of the perforations (68) of such a rack.

A support structure according to claim 14 characterised in that, on the opposite side to the detent portion (71) which it has, each of the cramp arrangements (70) with which the support structure is provided is capable of co-operating with and bearing against the corresponding flange (67) of the associated uprights (65).
16. A support structure according to any one of claims 14 and 15 characterised in that each of the cramp arrangements (70) with which it is provided constitutes a screw jack.
17. A support structure according to claim 16 characterised in that each of the cramp arrangements (70) with which it is provided comprises a screwthreaded rod (72) by means of which it is fastened adjustably in respect of position to the crosspiece (32, 33) in question, and an attachment block (74) which carries said screwthreaded rod (72) and which is jointly provided with the detent portion (71) which is suitable for co-operation of the assembly with a rack.

A support structure according to any one of claims 14 to 17 characterised in that, each of the ends of a crosspiece (32, 33) which is provided with a cramp arrangement (70) forms a lug portion (40) which by way of its aperture (41) is capable of permitting such a cramp arrangement (70) to be fitted thereto.
19. A support structure according to claim 18 characterised in that each of the ends of each of its crosspieces (32, 33) forms a lug portion (40).
