Abstract

Pivoting door for a motor vehicle and especially for a public transport vehicle. The subject of the invention is a pivoting door comprising a panel 10 whose rotation is controlled by a rotary jack 12 arranged in the step 14 of the vehicle. According to the present invention, the vertical control spindle 32 for opening the panel is constituted by the axis of rotation 38 of the jack 12 whose ends open onto the outside of the body of the latter and are connected to parallel linking arms 20, 22.
