Abstract

The folding metal trolley forming a service table is particularly for use in an operating theatre. It comprises a roughly rectangular frame with a castor wheel at each corner, together with a removable tray. Hinging on the cross-members (7) at the ends of the frame (1) are two end sections (10,10') arranged to fold down onto the latter and parallel to it, one on top of the other. Locking devices (23) and stops (15) secure these sections in the upright position. The stops are fixed to the frame ends, and so shaped as to secure the removable tray (24) between them and the end sections when the latter are in the folded position.
