Abstract

The safety belt for a dog travelling in a vehicle consists of a harness with a buckle (13) permitting one end of a strap (16) to be connected, the other end being secured to an anchorage point. The harness consists of a collar (11) and a securing strap (12), this strap also passing through the buckle, then being secured by an end connection after passing round the body of the dog. The collar includes an extension (20) which passes between the front legs of the dog. The extension terminates in a loop through which the strap passes. The buckle on top has a loop (14) which is engaged by a hooked connection (15) at the free end of the anchorage strap.
