Abstract

The additional safety buckle is for a vehicle safety belt, allowing it to be rapidly released by the wearer or others. It comprises an intermediate piece (1) between two sections of the belt (5,8), near the bottom anchorage to the vehicle body. It has a slot (4) in which the end of one section is secured.
