Abstract

The anti theft post is for two wheeled vehicles. Closure is via a padlock (11) or pin. A compartment has a door (2) which closes automatically. The compartment is mounted on a tubular post (12). The compartment can house a helmet and the door is locked by a ring (9 or 10). The door slides on slideways and has a hand grip at the top, falling shut under its own weight. A stop leaves a space (7) at the bottom so as not to trap a user's fingers. The compartment can have holes for ventilation.
