Dispositif de protection pour véhicule routier. La présente invention a pour objet un dispositif de protection pour véhicule routier, notamment pour motocyclette ou bicyclette.
Ce dispositif est caractérisé en ce qu'il comprend une bâche, des moyens adaptés au véhicule pour l'enroulement de cette bâche, et des moyens pour la fixation de la bâche au véhicule.
Le dessin annexé représente, à titre d'exemple, une forme d'exécution du dispo sitif de protection faisant l'objet de l'inven tion.
La fig. 1 est une vue en plan de cette forme d'exécution.
La fig. 2 est une vue en perspective du dispositif de protection utilisé comme pélerine pour les passagers d'une motocyclette, et la fig. 3 est une vue en perspective d'une motocyclette munie de ce dispositif.
Le dispositif de protection représenté com prend une bâche 1 montrée développée à la fig. 1. Cette bâche comprend une partie rec tangulaire 2 destinée à recouvrir l'arrière et le milieu de la motocyclette, ainsi qu'une par tie trapézoïdale 3 destinée à protéger l'avant de la motocyclette. Une bande 4 est fixée à la partie rectangulaire 2 et la relie à un coffret 5 destiné à recevoir ladite bâche enroulée. Deux ouvertures 6 sont ménagées dans la partie rectangulaire 2, destinées respective ment au passage de la tête du conducteur et d'un passager, comme représenté à la fig. 2. Ces ouvertures 6 peuvent être fermées hermé tiquement lorsque la bâche couvre la moto- cyclette, comme représenté à la fig. 3, par exemple à l'aide d'une fermeture à curseur munie d'un couvre-joint approprié, non repré senté.
Au lieu de deux ouvertures, on pour rait n'en prévoir qu'une seule pour le conduc teur dans le cas où la motocyclette ne com porte pas de siège arrière. Les angles à droite ou arrière de la partie rectangulaire 2 sont munis d'#illets 7 dans lesquels passent des moyens de fixation comprenant, d'un côté, un anneau 8 et, de l'autre, un porte-mousqueton 9 destiné à être relié à l'anneau 8 autour de la roue arrière de la. motocyclette, comme re présenté à. la fig. 3.
Les angles à gauche ou avant de la partie rectangulaire 2 sont également munis d'oeillets 10 présentant chacun un porte-mousqueton 11. destiné à être fixé à la. roue avant de la moto cyelette. Un crochet. 12, fixé à une bande élas tique 13, est prévu à la partie avant de la bâche pour retenir cette partie en avant du guidon de la motocyclette. Des sangles élas tiques 14 relient les porte-mousquetons 9 et 11 aux oeillets 7 et. 10.
Le coffret. 5 est constitué par une enve loppe cylindrique fixée au porte-bagages ou à toute autre partie fixe de la motocyclette au moyen d'au moins une bride (non repré sentée). A l'intérieur de cette enveloppe est disposé un mécanisme d'enroulement automa tique dont seul le bouton de commande 15 est représenté. Ce mécanisme comprend, comme pour les stores à enroulement automatique, un tambour sollicité par des moyens à ressort et servant à enrouler automatiquement la bande 4 qui y est fixée, ainsi que le reste de la bâche repliée de faon convenable.
L'ouver ture longitudinale 16, pratiquée dans l'enve loppe cylindrique du coffret 5 pour le pas sage de la bâche, peut être refermée après l'enroulement de ladite bâche dans le coffret, au moyen d'un couvercle formé, par exemple, par un rabat (non représenté) en tissu ou en cuir qui, lors de l'utilisation du coffret, est replié à l'intérieur de celui-ci. Tout autre moyen de fermeture pourrait être utilisé dans ce but.
Le dispositif décrit peut non seulement être utilisé pour recouvrir une motocyclette (fig. 3) ou servir de pélerine au conducteur et au passager (fig. 2), mais peut également former un abri à l'extérieur de la motocy - clette. A cet effet, la bâche 1 peut être tendue derrière la motocyclette par des attaches fixées à chaque angle, et reliées, par exemple, à des piquets, à des branches ou autres.
Le dispositif décrit a l'avantage d'être de construction simple et bon marché; il est en outre peu encombrant, fixé derrière le siège arrière d'une motocyclette, le coffret fait par tie de celle-ci au même titre qu'une sacoche et la bâche est toujours prête à être utilisée. Bien que ce dispositif ait été décrit appliqué à une motocyclette, il pourrait également être adapté à une bicyclette ou à tout autre véhi cule routier, par exemple à une automobile.

The protection device shown com takes a cover 1 shown developed in FIG. 1. This tarpaulin comprises a rec tangular part 2 intended to cover the rear and the middle of the motorcycle, as well as a trapezoidal part 3 intended to protect the front of the motorcycle. A strip 4 is fixed to the rectangular part 2 and connects it to a box 5 intended to receive said rolled up tarpaulin. Two openings 6 are made in the rectangular part 2, intended respectively for the passage of the head of the driver and of a passenger, as shown in FIG. 2. These openings 6 can be closed hermetically when the tarpaulin covers the motorcycle, as shown in fig. 3, for example using a slide fastener provided with a suitable joint cover, not shown.
Instead of two openings, one could provide only one for the driver in the event that the motorcycle does not include a rear seat. The angles to the right or to the rear of the rectangular part 2 are provided with # eyelets 7 in which pass fixing means comprising, on one side, a ring 8 and, on the other, a carabiner holder 9 intended to be connected to the ring 8 around the rear wheel of the. motorcycle, as re presented to. fig. 3.
The angles to the left or to the front of the rectangular part 2 are also provided with eyelets 10 each having a carabiner holder 11. intended to be fixed to the. front wheel of the cyelette motorcycle. A hook. 12, attached to an elastic band 13, is provided at the front part of the tarpaulin to retain this part in front of the handlebars of the motorcycle. Elastic straps 14 connect the carabiner holders 9 and 11 to the eyelets 7 and. 10.
The safe. 5 consists of a cylindrical casing fixed to the luggage carrier or to any other fixed part of the motorcycle by means of at least one flange (not shown). Inside this envelope is disposed an automatic winding mechanism of which only the control button 15 is shown. This mechanism comprises, as for automatic roller blinds, a drum biased by spring means and serving to automatically wind the strip 4 which is attached to it, as well as the rest of the cover folded in a suitable manner.
The longitudinal opening 16, made in the cylindrical casing of the box 5 for the passage of the tarpaulin, can be closed after the winding of said tarpaulin in the box, by means of a formed cover, for example, by a flap (not shown) made of fabric or leather which, when using the box, is folded inside the latter. Any other means of closure could be used for this purpose.
The device described can not only be used to cover a motorcycle (Fig. 3) or serve as a pilgrim for the driver and passenger (Fig. 2), but can also form a shelter outside the motorcycle. For this purpose, the tarpaulin 1 can be stretched behind the motorcycle by fasteners fixed at each angle, and connected, for example, to stakes, to branches or the like.
The device described has the advantage of being of simple and inexpensive construction; it is also not cumbersome, fixed behind the rear seat of a motorcycle, the box is part of the latter in the same way as a bag and the cover is always ready to be used. Although this device has been described applied to a motorcycle, it could also be suitable for a bicycle or any other road vehicle, for example an automobile.
