Abstract

The display stand comprises a plate with decorative coverings (3) and hooks for securing the jewellery articles in place. The plate includes supports so that the positions of the hooks (4) can be altered, to suit the items displayed. Typically there can be holes in the plate, and in which stems on the hooks fit, passing through the covering. As an alternative, the holes can be tapped, the hooks screwing into them. The hooks can also be detachable from their stems.

Claims

1. Display of the kind comprising a tray (2) covered with a decorative trim (3) and provided with fixed systems for hanging objects to be exhibited, characterized in that the tray (2) comprises means (2a, 4a, 12) to change the place of the hanging systems (4) in order to adapt their distribution according to the objects to be exhibited (6-7).

2. Display according to claim 1, characterized in that the means for changing the position of the attachment systems (4) consist of holes (2a) formed over the entire surface of the plate (2) and in some of which the rod (4a) of each of said systems engages after passing through the lining (3).

3. Display according to claim 2, characterized in that the rod (4a) of each of the attachment systems (4) is replaced by a screw (12) whose thread cooperates with one of the holes (2a) of the plate (2).

4. Display according to claim 2, characterized in that each attachment system (4) is associated with a removable clip (13) which cooperates with its rod (4a) at the underside of the plate on which said clip takes support.

5. Method for setting up a tight packing (3), characterized in that it consists

- placing the lining (3) on the useful face (2c) of a plate (2) by folding it down on its underside after having made it cooperate with the outside of its rim (2b)

- fixing the edges of the lining relative to projections (2d) formed on said underside of the plate (2) near its rim (2b)

- making a frame (10) penetrate inside the rim (2b) of the plate (2) so that the free edge (10a) of the frame (10) tightens the lining (3)

- And to immobilize the frame (10) relative to the plate (2).

6. Display stand characterized in that it is produced by implementing the method according to claim 5.

7. Display according to claim 6, characterized in that its plate (2) has a flange (2b) which rises perpendicularly to its useful face (2c) and in that it is provided with bosses (2d) located two by two at each of its angles and directed in the same direction as that of the edge (2b).

8. Display according to claim 7, characterized in that each boss (2d) is pierced in order to allow the introduction of a device (11) which passes through the lining (3) to retain it when it is energized by the frame (10).

9. Display according to claim 8, characterized in that the frame (10) is made in the form of a partition secured to a plate (9) so that the free stop (lova) of this frame (10 ) penetrates inside the rim (2d) of the plate (2), the plate (9) constituting a bottom (8) which closes the underside of this plate (2).

10. Display according to claim 9, characterized in that the rim (2b) of the plate (2) and the frame (10) of its bottom (9) are provided with perforations (2f, 10b) which come into alignment at the end of tension of the fabric and in which an assembly element (11 ') is engaged.
