Abstract

The blanket securing grip for the cylinder of a printing machine uses a clip made of a metal such as aluminium and which is approximately V shaped in cross section. The interior surface of each arm carries a pattern of small teeth (3) alternating with larger teeth (4). These grip the end (5) of the blanket (5) when forced together. One arm (2) carries a flange (6) turned outwards at its top and the other (1) carries a smaller flange (7) turned outwards in the opposite direction at the bottom, for attachment to the printing cylinder.
