Abstract

THE PRESENT INVENTION CONCERNS AN INTERCAL BASKET WHICH INCLUDES A PERFORATED BOTTOM, SIDE WALLS AND UNDER THE BOTTOM A FLOOR CONSISTING OF AT LEAST PARALLEL PARTS OF GUTTERS SEPARATE FROM ONE ANOTHER, THE EXTERNAL SURFACES OF WHICH ACT AS SUPPORTS FROM TOP ROOF-SHAPED PACKAGING. THIS BASKET IS CHARACTERIZED IN THAT TO ALLOW THE PLACEMENT AND STACKING ON A HARASS, THE GUTTERS 8 OR THE PARTS OF THE GUTTER 12 ARE PRESENT, AT THEIR LATERAL ENDS OF THE CUT-OUTS 11 WHICH ALLOW A STACKING OF THE INTERCALAR BASKET ON THE HARASSES. Description

The present invention relates to an intermediate basket which

  a perforated bottom, side walls and under the bottom a floor composed of at least portions of parallel gutters separated from each other, the outer surfaces of which serve as supports for upper portions of roof-shaped packages. There are non-reusable intermediate layers to be placed between superposed groups of containers or tubes. These intermediate layers can not be combined with other receptacles, especially with standardized crates. These intermediate layers are used for stacking containers or tubes, having a special shape, in particular the shape of a roof with a pinion extending vertically. However, a combination with other products, especially with products that can be stacked in crates, can not be achieved with such layers

  intermediates (see Swiss patent CH 520 040).

  The present invention proposes to make an intermediate basket that can be used not only for stacking groups of containers or tubes having the roof form mentioned, but which can at the same time be used

  in combination with normal crates, that is to say, which offers the possibility of

  to place or pack the baskets on crates.

  Referring to Figures 1, 2 and 4, 5 shows an intermediate basket 1 according to the invention. This comprises a bottom 3 pierced with square openings 4 and under which stretching ribs 5 extend. Along the outside face of the perforated bottom 3 extends a floor 7 which consists of gutters 8 separated by reinforcing folds 9. The gutters 8 have at their two ends cutouts 11 by which the resulting shorter parts of the bottom can fit between the walls of the standard saddles 25. The floor 7 is surrounded by sidewalls 14, 15, 16 and 17. The sides of the sidewalls which rise above the floor 7 have, at their two short sides 15 and 16 slots 19, while the central portion of the side walls 15 and 16 has notches 20 which can serve handle. The two side walls 15 and 16 also comprise stiffening ribs forming bearing surfaces 22. The large side walls 14 and 17 also have notches acting as a handle so that the intermediate basket It can be grasped by its long sides . This makes it possible to enter the basket I as well by the small ones as by the

Intermediate basket which comprises a perforated bottom, walls -   at the side and bottom a floor composed of at least parallel portions of eaves separated from each other, the outer surfaces of which serve as supports for upper portions of roof-shaped packings, characterized in that, in order to allow the placement and stacking on a crate (25),   the gutters (8) or the gutter parts (12) have at their ends   side of the cutouts (11) which allow the stacking of the basket on crates.   2. Intermediate basket according to claim 1, characterized in that the side walls (14 - 17) which extend above and below the perforated bottom (3), have spans (22) which allow the basket of   come to rest on the upper edges of the crate (25).   3.
