Abstract

The bag has vertical sides (6) and a flat base (8) which has a central fold so that the bag can be collapsed flat. The ends (7) are also made up of two flaps folded inwards. The top of the bag is reinforced by folding over inwards. The bag can be carried by a cord (11) which passes through eyes (10) on each side of the bag. The cord also closes the edges of the bag. The bag may also be formed from a single sheet of material and can have rigid short end pieces.

Claims

1. Bag or other packaging of the flat bottom type according to claim of the main patent, characterized in that the frame is extended laterally through a fold or fulling line to form two vertical sections which stiffen the sides of the bag or the like and keep it in the open position.
