Abstract

The chain conveyor is for use in confined spaces. A mobile element (6) is suspended from at least two links of the chain (8) and is fixed to at least one of these links. Each suspension rod is connected to the mobile element through a ball race, one half of which is fixed to the suspension rod, and one half to the mobile element. Rollers, supported on rails either side of the chain (8) are mounted on chain links midway between two suspension links. The elements are held perpendicular by runners (18) supported against a bar (17).
