Abstract

1316756 Framework for endless conveyers G M OBRADOR 4 May 1970 [3 May 1969] 21456/70 Heading B8A [Also in Division F4] Clothes are carried along continuously on an endless elevated track 7 which has a hinged looped portion 11 which is vibrated to shake liquid from the clothes. The vibrating track portion 11a is substantially U-shaped and pivoted at 21 to the remainder of the track 7, and comprises a cross-bar 23 engaging rotated cams 24. An endless chain 14 (driven at 9 and tensioned at 35) interconnects wheeled brackets 29 running on the lower flange of an I-section beam 16 forming the track 7, the brackets 29 cooperating in pairs to support rails 32 carrying clothes racks (not shown). The upper flange of the I-section beam 16 is bonded to the undersides of overhanging columns 18 located inwards of the track. Track sections may be of variable length.
