Abstract

The baking oven has a drawer (2-7, 17) which is situated above the baking space, supports the operating switches, clock and signal light on the instrument panel (4) and exhibits inside the drawer a fan (18), a vapour removal channel (34, 60) and the device (39) for controlling the baking oven. The device (39), which may have electrical components such as a computer, a power supply unit and a power section, is seated on a push-in part (31, 32) which can be removed forwards from the drawer (2-7, 17) for replacement by another push-in part to facilitate repair and maintenance. The drawer (2-7, 17) therefore serves as a fittings box, a ventilation hood and a casing for the push-in part (31, 32). The push-in part (31, 32) is traversed by fresh air (65, 66, 67) to cool the device (39). This effect, like the extraction of vapours (58, 70) from the baking space (13) both when the door is closed (55) and when it is open (55'), is achieved by the single fan (18).
