Abstract

The fitting comprises an asymmetric mono winged 'U' bolt (1) with a slot holed metal strap (8). The strap (8) is rectangular with a circular hole (9) and a slot hole (10) at its opposite longitudinal extremities. The longer bolt leg (3) is threaded (7) over the terminal half or so of its length to locate a nut (11). The cross bar (4) is half circular, and the short leg (2) terminates in an external right angled return (5) or wing. For assembly the two pieces are pivoted relative to one another until the head (H) of the long leg (3) passes through the slot hole (10) to receive the nut (11).
