Abstract
The pump contains a liquid which is heated through a solar panel causing it to vaporise. The liquid is enclosed in the reservoir (14) which has a flexible diaphragm. The diaphragm is connected to the linkage system. The liquid in the pipe is displaced and operates the water pump diaphragm. The cold water is discharged through the nozzle over the container condensing the vapours inside it. The water is then collected in the lower reservoir. Several containers may be used in parallel.
