Abstract

The blade is of flexible material, such as rubber. There is at least one pair of intermediate link pieces and a main support. The intermediate links are pivoted on the main support. Each link has spherical pivoting held in housings in the other, without play. The spherical seating is made of a connecting piece in hard plastics material held between side faces of the main support and the intermediate link, which is of U-section near the pivot with hemispherical seatings. The arrangement gives minimum play and operating noise.
