Abstract

Hair cutting apparatus, has two blades (2, 3) which have rows of teeth (4, 5) on their front side. At least one of the blades (3) is drivable and can move backwards and forwards against the other blade. (2) The blades have friction surfaces on their front sides at the teeth locations, and also at the support rear part (11) (12) locations. Between the support part friction surfaces an intermediary piece (13) is fitted, ensuring that the rows of teeth lie in contacting planes. The intermediary piece (13) is made of a material with low friction coefficients, preferably plastic. The blades have ridges crossing with each other in a contacting manner at the location of the support parts, and these have small friction surfaces.
