Abstract

The clasp is intended to join two plates (21,12) and consists of a spring wire element (10) having a hooked end (14,15) which is bent over the edge of one plate (21). The wire is then folded over into hairpin form with arms (17,18) which folds over the web (11). The clasp ends with a loop (19) which is in contact with the plate at the corner (16). The hairpin loop may be located by a slot in the web (11) and the pin may be covered with a rubber strip to hide the clasp.
