Abstract

The switching circuit may be integrated. It has a mosfet switch and an extra input (FE) for inputting time-varying signal function that defines the manner in which the resistance of the switch (Ts) changes. The signal (QA) that controls the switch also actuates an inverter (INV) which receives both the varying signal function and the inverse of that function. The inverter is connected via AND-gates (A1-A3) to the output of a D-flipflop (FF) whose input receives the control signal (QA). The advantage lies in avoiding voltage spikes in the circuit being switched.
