Abstract
L'invention concerne un procédé d'extraction du tritium d'un courant d'eau lourde liquide. Ce procédé consiste à mettre l'eau lourde liquide en contact avec du deutérium gazeux s'écoulant à contre-courant dans une colonne garnie d'un catalyseur hydrophobe, de manière à transférer le tritium, par échange isotopique, du courant d'eau lourde liquide dans le courant de deutérium gazeux, à faire passer le gaz enrichi en tritium sortant de la colonne dans un dispositif pour séparer le tritium et à renvoyer le gaz pauvre en tritium vers la colonne, et à obtenir une eau lourde liquide à la sortie de la colonne, cette eau lourde ayant une teneur réduite en tritium. Application : réacteurs nucléaires.
