Abstract
PURPOSE:To extract and measure a dissolved gas in a sample liquid without contacting outside air by extracting it as dissolved in an inert gas through contact between the liquid and the gas. CONSTITUTION:A carrier gas from a supply source 1 is fed to a separation column 12 and a photoionized gas detector 13 via a measuring device 20 passing through a decompression value 2 and a flow rate adjuster 8. A helium gas to another flow rate adjuster 3 flows through a measuring tube 10 of a gas sampling device 20 at a constant flow rate passing through an extraction tube 7 and an outlet 74 via an inlet 71. A sample water is introduced into the extraction tube 7 at an inlet 73 via a flow rate adjuster 4 from a watr sampling tube 5 and flows down along the surface of a spherical filler 72 to an overflow tank 6 from an outlet 75. In the extraction tube, the dissolved gas in the sample water is extracted into the helium and guided to the separation column 12 with the change-over of a valve 11. It is separated into each component while passing through the separation column 12 with the carrier gas and detected with a detector 13.
