Abstract

L'invention concerne la détermination de la nature d'une matière transportée Elle se rapporte à un procédé dans lequel les radiations de deux faisceaux 11, 12 ayant des énergies différentes, provenant d'une source 5, sont détectées par un détecteur 7 apres passage dans un mélange 3 de charbon et de pierres entraîné par un transporteur 1. Les radiations sont transmises différemment suivant la nature de la matière portée par la courroie transporteuse. Les radiations sont collimatées afin que les radiations aux deux niveaux d'énergie ne puissent pas interférer. Application à la détermination des quantités de pierres contenues par le charbon.
