Abstract

L'invention concerne une composition d'huile lubrifiante. La consommation de carburant d'un moteur à combustion interne peut être réduite par addition à l'huile lubrifiante utilisée pour lubrifier le carter de ce moteur d'une proportion de 0,25 à 2 % en poids d'un ester d'acide gras du glycérol. L'invention s'adresse tant aux moteurs à allumage par compression qu'aux moteurs à allumage par étincelle.
