Abstract
La présente invention concerne un appareil pour le traitement d'un effluent liquide selon le procédé à boue activée. Cet appareil comprend deux zones concentriques au travers desquelles le liquide circule. L'appareil comprend un réservoir dans lequel est monté un dispositif d'aération, une paroi entourant ce dispositif d'aération pour diviser l'intérieur du réservoir en une zone interne et une zone externe, un passage pour le liquide entre ces zones près de la surface du liquide dans le réservoir et un passage pour le liquide entre ces zones près de la base du réservoir, l'appareil étant tel qu'une partie de l'écoulement de liquide produit par le dispositif d'aération est transférée depuis la zone interne vers la zone externe pour s'écouler au travers de la zone externe avant de retourner dans la zone interne L'invention est applicable dans le procédé de traitement à boue activée.
