Abstract

The chassis is for model vehicles, mainly racing cars. It has a base (1), which supports the body, the engine, and various controls. The wheels at the back and front are fixed to the base by an independent suspension system. The front system consists of two levers (18, 19) situated vertically one above the other. Each lever can pivot freely and is connected to the base at one extremity (20, 22) and to the axle (14) of the wheels through a pivot (15) at the other. A spring (29) between the levers responds to their relative displacements.
